Whole Foods

Does anyone know how far the nearest Whole Foods is from SSR? I can get address off the WF website and GPS it, but I am trying to determine how far out of the way it is. Thanks!

There are only 2 in the Orlando area. This one is the closest to WDW:

Maybe 10 minutes from where you are and very simple to get to. I-4 to Sand Lake Road, turn left then another left and there you are. We often visit there from the BCV and it was maybe 10-12 minutes.

Or if you prefer not to do I-4, you can go out Hotel Plaza Bl, turn left at 535 (Crossroads shopping area), turn right at Palm Parkway (about 1 block), Palm Pkwy becomes Turkey Lake Road. Whole Foods will be on the right just before Sand Lake Rd.

You've got the directions, I just wanted to add that we stayed at SSR in January and stopped by the WF a couple of times, and it was great having it so easy to access, and it's a nice store! Made our trip that much better (with food allergies in the family)!!

After many years of WDW trips, I finally turned down Sand Lake Road last day of my trip last month. Saw the Whole Foods and kicked myself for not finding it sooner! There is also a great looking Publix in the same area.

On another note, I hadn't been to Gooding's in years. It used to be a spectacular, if pricey, store. It really looks like it's on it's last legs. Seems like the chain competition is finally doing them in.

Pam, you can stop kicking yourself. That Whole Foods is pretty new. I'm not sure if it's even been open for a year yet.

There's also a Super Target just a bit past Wal-Mart (keep going on 535 and then turn left onto 192/Irlo Bronson - they have a great Disney section, too.
