Hi, Sarah here! I’m writing a Pre trip report for my next *tentative* trip which will take place in October/November of 2012. 2012. Some of you may call me a crazy person. Some of you may call me a brilliant person who likes to plan ahead. For those of you agreed with the second option, thank you very much. And as for those who went with the first, I really don’t blame you. I am a crazy person for doing this. I am a crazy person in general. But I don’t care. Because I’m really excited. Even if it’s not for another year and a half (About 490 days, depending on what day we leave). Even if it’s not definite yet. Anyways, this PTR will consist of updates about the trip and trip decisions and stuff, as well as random stuff going in my life. I figured it would be a good project for the summer. And the school year. And next summer. And the beginnings of next fall. Anyway, I’ll just start with the introductions.
First up ME.

Like I said, my name is Sarah. And I love Disney a lot. We usually only get to go to Disney every 3 summers, so getting to go sooner and in the fall for MNSSHP is a real treat. Most of my friends and family don’t appreciate my love for all things Disney. It’s sad, isn’t it? I have one friend who likes Disney a lot like me, but her whole family is obsessed, so she gets to go every year. And I’m just here in New Jersey, jealous. Anyways, more about me. I’ve been on about 5 trips to the world so far. MY favorite resort that we’ve stayed at, so far, is the Poly. My favorite park is probably Mk, and my favorite ride(s) are probably Splash Mountain and Big Thunder. Some other random non-Disney facts about me, I am actually really a pretty sick rapper, I have a huge obsession with Lee Dewyze and have a mega crush on him, and I love Pokemon and I’m actually pretty good at it. Anyways, on to my parents.
My Mom: She obviously likes Disney enough to pitch in to take us every year, but she doesn’t like to plan for it or anything. If I want everything planned out a certain way, I have to do it myself. Not that I mind, because I kinda like planning trip, especially when the destination includes the word “Disney”.
My Dad: He likes to go with the flow. But sometimes, he has the impatience of a two year old.
And for the extras. This includes people who will be mentioned, but will not be joining us on the trip. This includes my older sister, Lauren, and my older brother, Chris.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the very LOOOONNGG PTR journey we are going to have together. And please do not lurk. Don’t be afraid to comment after you read, I don’t bite. Often.

Resorts, resorts, resorts. Since it’s probably only going to be My parents and I on this trip, we will probably stay at a value or a moderate. I looked into some resorts, and narrowed it down to three. One for each price range. Here are my decisions:
VALUE: Disney’s All Star Movies.

I would’ve preferred Pop, but my mom said she doesn’t like Pop. SO, I had to pick one of the All Stars. Movies was my favorite, and I have Sports as a backup. I picked this one because its theming was my favorite out of the three. Also, I think it looks really cute. I’ve never stayed at a Value before, but I’ve always wanted to because of those huge, cute, statues they have.
MODERATE: Caribbean Beach

I’ve never stayed here before, but my parents have. I chose this one because it has the best location of all the moderate resorts. And the Nemo rooms.
Deluxe: Wilderness Lodge

My parent’s choice. I picked a deluxe because I haven’t really run by my parents where they would wanna stay sooooo.

Okay, I need your help! If you’ve stayed at one (or more) of the hotels, please, please, tell me what you think. It’ll make this so much easier, because where you stay is something that you usually figure out right away.

Hi Sarah!

Yay! I'm excited to read your PTR. And don't worry. I definitely don't think you're a crazy person for writing this so far ahead! :goodvibes I think you're brilliant...

We stayed at the All Star Movies Resort, and, although the huge characters were cute (and I loved the dalmatian theme :lovestruc) Our room was not kept in great shape, and the food court was a mess when we went... (Sorry, but we're picky...) If you're not too particular about that kind of stuff, go for it! I love our pictures with big Buzz and Woody... :thumbsup2

I would go for the Moderate resort; it looks pretty cool, and it sounds like mom and dad might go for it. ;)

Looking forward to more! :D

I think we're gonna end up with the moderate. A couple years ago my Mom and I went on a trip just the two of us and we stayed at POR and it was the perfect "medium". I don't know what my Dad will think of a Value, and he'll probably think it's a waste to stay at a Deluxe if my siblings aren't tagging along.

Hello! I thought, as kind of a random update I’d share with you some of my favorite Disney websites! They are in no particular order; I just numbered them to make things easier.

1.WDWMagic.com- I love this website cause it has so much information and tips. They also have a lot of good pictures, and almost at least one review for every store, restaurant, ride, and shows!

2.WDWinfo.com-The Disboards wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them! I like this website cause they have some really awesome pictures, and they have this video of Spaceship Earth that has amazing quality.

3.Plan-a-magical-vacation.com-I like this website because it is really good for planning, while some of the others are just info about the stuff that’s in WDW. It has an awesome Disney step-by-step planning guide which will come in handy as our trip gets closer.

4.DisneyWorld.com- When all else fails, just go to the original! I used to not like the actual WDW website until I realized that you have to go there to actually BOOK you’re trip there, so it must be a pretty awesome site. (;

The MNSSHP is my all time favorite thing to do opener in WDW! I absolutely love it! (: I normally have an annual trip each October. About the resorts, I haven't stayed at any, but I've been to the Wilderness Lodge. That would prob be my choice, just because the MK is my favorite park, and it's the closest.
