Didn't Sean say that his parents are unavailable or something? His parents are away for a couple of years? Maybe Sean is "housesitting" and that's why he's still "living at home."

How messy can his room be? I haven't seen any previews.

Please oh please don't let this be the thing that gets Sean the boot. I remember with Travis Stork and Sarah "unrecognizable cooing sounds" Canada that living at home was part of her undoing. But her departure, I was happy about.

I thought they would be gone for a couple weeks? Maybe it was some big Mormon/religious conference?

How rude to judge our Tv habits! I bet that person watches Lawrence Welk reruns and lama auctions.

She watches Dance Moms, and a couple other reality TV shows, herself.

BTW, that reminds me, someone took a swipe at me a couple weeks ago, (well, ALL of us here, as we all watch/read about The Bachelor(ette) to a degree on this thread.) I was commenting on another TV show thread about the lack of intelligent writing of that TV show and a poster said how intelligent could I possibly be if I(/We) watch The Bachelor(ette)?

I guess it doesn't correlate in her world that intelligent people could be sucked in to watch a trainwreck in the making

and be able to snark about it amongst ourselves with any intelligence, and see it for the cheap entertainment that it is. That we must be as dumb as the contestants.

I say unashamedly that I love the Bachelor seasons. It is mindless entertainment and after working my buns off all day and taking care of my kids, I like a little trashy reality tv...a la Bachelorette. I didn't realize watching Bunheads was the equivalent of earning a college degree, did you Imzadi?? Shoot, what a shame I wasted all that money for four years of college then.

I think I just imagined it was some Mormon/religious thing. He made it sound like they were going to something really solemn. Heck, they could have been going to WDW and said, "No way are we cancelling that trip!"

I too hope this doesn't give Sean the boot, but I must admit, that would be a huge red flag for me.

Your right! That's where I got the idea of a possible Mormon event from.

It never was established what Sean's spirituality/religion is. Just that he keeps saying how great his parents are. I guess he'd think that if they still let a 28 year old live with them.

I think that was Jef's parents.

I truly hope that the producers are just trying to throw us off the track. I also wonder whose dad Emily is talking to on the commercials when she asks the guy if he thinks his son is ready to be a father to a 6-year old. There is, of course, a long hesitation after the question on the father's part, but they don't show his answer.

The show's editors are notorious for making us believe things are different than they really are. I hope that is really what is going on. If Sean doesn't "win" I want him to be the next bachelor though.

Just saw the preview. It's really hard to interpret, because they've always been extremely misleading in the past. Sean's revelation about still living at home could be followed by "just kidding!" Who knows. But that room really was a mess. BUT...maybe that's not HIS room??

And it was my DD who told me that Sean's parents were missionaries, so it's all her fault.

Somehow, I don't thing to takes much for Chris to feel the CRAZY part.

Did you guys notice that she just used the words "falling in love with..." when talking about Sean? She also said she could picture her life with him being perfect.
But....they also show him chasing after her car.

BUT, it sounded like they just did a voiceover of Sean yelling Emily's name when as he did when he was running around Prague yelling her name. So, I'm not sure I am buying he's chasing AFTER the car. She could have been arriving, and they dubbed in him yelling her name to make it seem like he's chasing her as she was leaving.
