Who will be watching Emily Maynard the Bachelorette? No Spoilers PLEASE

I hope this isn't considered a spoiler, but they are showing it on all the Bachelorette commercials...

They show Sean telling Emily he still lives at home with his parents and they show his room which looks like a messy teenage boy's room. Not flattering for a 28 year old man. :sad2:

Oh noooooo!!!! I didn't see that in the previews. Even though Sean and Jef are my favorites, I don't think she chooses either one of them. :sad2:

Eek! That is very unflattering, though maybe the size of his biceps cancels that out for Emily? Maybe? Maybe not, his room was really messy. My guess is that his parents will ground him for that. Oh wait, he's 28!;)

....meh - a messy room; so what? I thought that mebbe he had ISSUES, like our buddy Chris....

Not the messy room so much, but on the commercial she looked shocked when he said he still lives at home. I guess because she has had her own home for so long that it must seem strange to her.

Then again, maybe it was edited to look worse than it really is.

I thought something was up with Sean because at the end of the show the preview looked like he was running after a car when they showed the home date. Maybe she left before the date was over.:confused3

...and that's another reason why she seems older than her age...

Bingo. The show does this ALL the time. Makes you think something else, and have it turn out 180 degree opposite. I don't put any stock in previews.

::yes:: Maybe he was kidding? . . . Hopefully?

My nephews' rooms still look the same as when they lived with their parents. They had just kind of moved out into a place of their own & took what they needed, and everything else is still the same, for when they come back & visit. The rooms are also really very messy as now they are mostly storage, too. So stuff just gets plopped in there haphazardly. As long as the beds are clean & accessible, that's fine for them.

....soooo, I was so stressed out because my lease ran out last Saturday on my car, and my DH was dragging his feet about getting a new one. Well, we went to the dealer last night, fully expecting to make an offer to have our vehicle financed [he thought that maybe we'll just outright buy it to avoid the leasing 'merry-go-round' that we've been on] - long story short, we wound up leaving with:

...I guess this was a little off-topic, huh?

Very nice for the new Kimmy-mobile! :thumbsup2

Hi! I miss you guys, but Emily was so boring I fell asleep in week 2 and just now woke up. WHat's up with the rumors that Chris H and Emily are an item?

Nice, looks like that was worth the DH dragging his feet a little! :goodvibes

I heard this too, but then heard that Vienna was the one saying it, so have a hard time believing anything she says!:lmao:

Uh, no, you gals heard that from ME right here. Magic Mom & I had that exact same conversation before she fell asleep. :lmao:

I like Chris, he seems nice.

I do too. I saw him sitting next to Emily at the DWTS finale. Wouldn't it be something if he had left his wife for Emily! They got really close during filming her show. :faint: "The Bachelorette ending you never saw coming." :rotfl:

Vienna, the *itch, stole MY joke.

. . . Wouldn't it be something if I nailed it and it does turn out to be true!?! :scratchin :lmao:

I bet it's true and then you would be Queen of the Bachelors.

I have a poem for you.

Roses are red,
Bacon is red,
Poems are hard,
Bacon.

As long as you end a poem with BACON, I think it's fine. :thumbsup2

I wonder if the new Kimmy-mobile has a bacon air freshener in it? :scratchin

 :scared:

:rotfl2:

BTW, that reminds me, someone took a swipe at me a couple weeks ago, (well, ALL of us here, as we all watch/read about The Bachelor(ette) to a degree on this thread.) I was commenting on another TV show thread about the lack of intelligent writing of that TV show and a poster said how intelligent could I possibly be if I(/We) watch The Bachelor(ette)? :rotfl:

I guess it doesn't correlate in her world that intelligent people could be sucked in to watch a trainwreck in the making
TrainWreck1.gif
and be able to snark about it amongst ourselves with any intelligence, and see it for the cheap entertainment that it is. :hyper2: That we must be as dumb as the contestants. :rotfl2:

Didn't Sean say that his parents are unavailable or something? His parents are away for a couple of years? Maybe Sean is "housesitting" and that's why he's still "living at home."

How messy can his room be? I haven't seen any previews.

Please oh please don't let this be the thing that gets Sean the boot. I remember with Travis Stork and Sarah "unrecognizable cooing sounds" Canada that living at home was part of her undoing. But her departure, I was happy about.

How rude to judge our Tv habits!:scared1: I bet that person watches Lawrence Welk reruns and lama auctions.
