Who will be at the Sneak Preview of "Soarin" on April 15-17?

We will be at SSR April 11 - 21 - (me, DH, DD, and niece) hoping to catch the Soarin Preview also!! Does anyone know if this is just for DVC members? We are bringing my niece and was wondering if she would be allowed to the sneak preview (can she go in my place)??

We will be there. Making a trip special just to see Soarin. To answer your question - it is my understanding that only annual passholders and DVC members will be able to ride and that they will check id's. We went to the animation preview last year at MGM and had to show our annual passes to get in.

I'll be there. First trip home, get F&G, plus Soaring(then again, I've been on it approx. 10 times).

We are hoping to check it out on the 17th (the day we arrive at BWV) but if now..............we will have to wait until August!!!

I went on Soaring in DL and it was awesome!!!

Anyone else going to be there this weekend? I think this is going to prove to be a very popular ride from all that I've heard about it. Hopefully it will take some pressure off Test Track.

See you in line on Friday morning. :wave2:

Yup. In fact, I'm "there" now.
If any here are pin collectors, on Friday morning they will release both the Flower & Garden Festival pin, AND a limited opening Soarin' pin! :)
Enjoy the show(s)!

We get in on April 17th early afternoon. Can't believe this actually coincides with our trip! Wahoooooo! How convenient that our DDE passes can be picked up, too! See ya all there. (We will be the middle-aged ladies not being middle-aged ladies). :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We're staying at OKW and plan to head over to Soarin on Friday - we have been on the ride at CA but this will be special I'm sure - looking forward to it!

We arrive on the 17th, with friends. DH, dd and I are planning to go over to Epcot that evening to pick up our AP's and DDE card. I am hoping to "sneak" in before we eat dinner at 1900 PF. I wish (now) that we didn't have dinner ressies that night.

If I get to ride it, I will also feel really guilty...I probably won't be able to tell our friends about it....I REALLY want to do it!!!

HBC....I am SOOO going to be looking for you!!!!

:cool1: We move into the BWV on the 17th. We hope to dash over to Soarin' and ride before we meet up with BIL and SIL (from IA) who happen to be in FL same time we are. They don't want to go to any parks. Too bad :sad2:

Soarin' was wonderful.

On Wednesday and Thursday of last week they had quiet soft openings each day. We entered the attraction right next to the Figment entrance. No one was saying anything about it ....you just had to kind of know.
The entrance part is huge and depicts airports from all over the world. You do feel like you are in an airport terminal. It really smelled new!!!
The lines were not long at all. The CM's were very excited and were still getting the tweeks worked out. I rode it three times on Wedesday and twice on Thursday. I was trying to talk it up to everyone but the minute I pointed to back stage....they were a little worried about me
Some families did go with me and two told me it was their best magical moment ever!!!
The front row is the best as you don't see shoes and feet dangling above you . I loved smelling the pine trees and oranges.
The CM's did say that yes, it was just like the Soarin' over CA but would like to eventually change it to Soarin' over America. I was hoping that since it was DL 50th and were advertising the attraction exchange in both parks that Soarin' in Epcot might change in a few years. Heck, I don't know.
I loved it anyway and was thrilled that I had a chance to ride it. Many CM's were predicting a three hour wait when it first opens.
There are fast pass machines inside.
Oh, Being a pin trader....I loved all the suits that were there overseeing everything. I had a great day with lanyard pins!
Last Friday, only CM's and their guests could ride. Lucky I knew a CM and called him up and he came over and allowed some Kyians I found at Epcot to ride!
I think I have written too much and am sad to be home.
Did stay in OKW for the first time ( home ...BCV ). Very large but the bus system is S L O W.
