Soarin' was wonderful.
On Wednesday and Thursday of last week they had quiet soft openings each day. We entered the attraction right next to the Figment entrance. No one was saying anything about it ....you just had to kind of know.
The entrance part is huge and depicts airports from all over the world. You do feel like you are in an airport terminal. It really smelled new!!!
The lines were not long at all. The CM's were very excited and were still getting the tweeks worked out. I rode it three times on Wedesday and twice on Thursday. I was trying to talk it up to everyone but the minute I pointed to back stage....they were a little worried about me
Some families did go with me and two told me it was their best magical moment ever!!!
The front row is the best as you don't see shoes and feet dangling above you . I loved smelling the pine trees and oranges.
The CM's did say that yes, it was just like the Soarin' over CA but would like to eventually change it to Soarin' over America. I was hoping that since it was DL 50th and were advertising the attraction exchange in both parks that Soarin' in Epcot might change in a few years. Heck, I don't know.
I loved it anyway and was thrilled that I had a chance to ride it. Many CM's were predicting a three hour wait when it first opens.
There are fast pass machines inside.
Oh, Being a pin trader....I loved all the suits that were there overseeing everything. I had a great day with lanyard pins!
Last Friday, only CM's and their guests could ride. Lucky I knew a CM and called him up and he came over and allowed some Kyians I found at Epcot to ride!
I think I have written too much and am sad to be home.
Did stay in OKW for the first time ( home ...BCV ). Very large but the bus system is S L O W.
