Does anybody know who was the OP about the Wendy's/Air Tran promotion?

I was the hero who gave free airfare to DD and her college roomate for spring break in Ft. Meyers at her brother's condo.

Next month, I'm giving free flights to DD and DH to join me after a business trip to Orlando that falls over a two day "reading break" at DD's college and our wedding anniversary.

These four round trips sure were fun to pull out like rabbits from a hat.

Total cost: $27 for taxes, $2.60 for two colas I had to buy (and did drink and enjoy) to complete the collection of 256 coupons, and some postage.

I'd love to send a Disney dollar to the OP as thanks. If each of us did that she'd be up to her/his neck in pixie dust. Otherwise, maybe we can just post mini trip reports here so the OP can see what a happy impact their posting has had.

I am not sure who posted it here but I can second that huge thank you!

This promotion has allowed our family to plan a wonderful trip, one there was no way to afford without the Air Tran tickets! Plus, we used a few of the tickets to fly our kids back to college after Christmas. It really saved us days of driving!

I spead the word about the Wendy's cups on a few other boards and I know other families were able to participate. DH laughs now that whenever we have a problem or a question I can come to DisBoards and get an answer! This board has literally changed our lives!

So whoever you are THANK YOU !!!!

We collected 128 Wendy's AirTran coupons and are using the tickets we got with them to go to Disney, too! It made it possible for us to have a "second honeymoon" when it would have been IMPOSSIBLE for us otherwise.

Nope. Promo ended Feb 13th. It was a very crazy time for many of us. I just booked my 4 free flights to MCO. We are taking some friends for an adults only trip!

I had a great time posting, gathering, and sending them in, but I am glad the stress is done. I just hope Billie, the A+ rewards worker at Airtran who was posting very good info, didn't get in trouble at Airtran.
