Who was able to get BWV/BCV at 7 months F&W Festival?????

Oh no, nobody at 7 months???

Last year we got a BWV 1 BR (preferred/garden) through waitlisting. We waitlisted at 3 months out, and it came through about a month later, if I recall correctly. This was for a weekend only though, and that probably helped (Nov 7-9).

I called Monday ..... for a last minute trip

Was able to book BWV studio for Nov 1-5th!!!

I'm sure that is NOT the norm....

I booked a 2 bedroom at BWV for October 1-4 at 6 months out....pool/garden view was the only room available.

I am hopeful after seeing so many other folks have gotten a room at the 7 month mark. I have always been able to in the summer at BCV ( 3 years in a row). But I am not counting on it for F&W festival. I will just keep my fingers crossed.

I am curious to see how things will get as the membership grows. I no allot if people think it will be harder to make changes at 7 months. But maybe all the DVCers who have been at the older resorts will be looking for a change; BLT; AKV etc and that will open up those resorts more. Anyway only time will tell.

In the mean time any day at any Resort in WDW is a Good Day in my humble opinion.

I made my main reservation at 11 months for BWV's but I did get my waitlist for Oct 11 last month and for Boardwalk view no less. Really excited, means I don't have to move!

WOW. When I called a few weeks ago for a BWV for one night in November I was told I could waitlist either P/G view or BW view and had to take whichever one came through first....Pool/Garden view came through.....
