Who was able to get BWV/BCV at 7 months F&W Festival?????

I no so many of you lucky folks out there are getting ready to enjoy F&W festival time for 2009. I have never been yet but am looking forward to going next year for the last week SEpt or first week of Oct. I am planning on going with my 4 sisters. So for me this will be the first adult only trip to the world.

I will reserve my own resort at 11 months but hope to do a split stay at either BWV or BCV and I will need a 2 Bedroom.

I was wondering how many out there were able to book there at 7 months this year. Also any good suggestions for some fun"Grown up "things to do or good restaurants to go to. I am always with my kids/grandkids and do the usual character meals with them.

I no my chances are not great for getting into Epcot area resorts during F&W but I thought it would be interesting to see how many were able to this year. Anyway, have Fun.

We stayed at our home resorts, so I can't help with changing reservations ( I booked 11 months out!) but DH and I had a great long weekend for F&W. DH enjoyed the MNSSHP enough to "commit" going again next year.

You'll have a great time with adults! We were able to sleep every morning until 8:30! DH was in heaven! We had been on a cruise in the beginning of September with shore excursions that left around 7 -7:30 each morning. THIS was a much more relaxing vacation.

I got three days 1st part of November at the BCV 6 months out, asked for dedicated 2 BDR but got lock off was happy!!

Wait listed them, tried for Treehouses that waitl list still hasn't come through.

My home resort is OKW. My husband and are taking a 4-day DCL cruise, so I booked a studio at BWV for the one pre-cruise Saturday night during F&W so we could walk to EPCOT. BWV & DCL was booked in July--about four months out.

We have been to several F & W events. Last year I was on the phone at 7 months pronto to book BWV and only got preferred view. Waitlisted for BWV but it never came thru. Ended up fine, got a dedicated studio on 5th floor, near the elevators. In years past we were able to book either BWV (Boardwalk view) or BCV.

This year, after the Big Family Gathering, and using a year and a half of points, we are paying cash to stay at CSR! And it will be fine.

Friends have been on the waitlist at BWV since the 7 mos window opened for 10/29 thru 11/4 for a 2BR (any view). I have a 2BR booked for 10/23 thru the 29th using my BWV points. Looks like we'll be moving to OKW (which is fine since we can put more Halloween decorations up).

We are here at BCV right now, got a 1BR at 7 months. We checked in 9/29 and wil check out on 10/2. It was a split stay with our home resort, SSR. Good luck!

We closed on a BWV resale just inside the 7 month window for an Oct trip. Had to wait list the Thursday night but it came through. I guess Thursday and Sundays are the hardest because they are the layover days for DCL. So now we have a 1 Bedroom standard view for next week

I got a one bedroom at BCV for 5 nights in October at 7 months - no problem.

Well I will be hopefull. We did get 4 days in BCV in March after our cruise this year. So i will keep my fingers crossed.

I got 4 nights in BWV (preferred view) at 5 months out for the first week in Oct in 2006.

Thanks for asking this! We are thinking of going to F&W next year just DH and I for the first weekend in Nov and we were wondering about that. Although since we are low on points we may just pay cash for a room somewhere.

I booked a 2 bedroom for Sept. 25-Oct. 2 at BCV 7 months out with no problem.

I made my main reservation at 11 months for BWV's but I did get my waitlist for Oct 11 last month and for Boardwalk view no less. Really excited, means I don't have to move!

We tryed at the 7 month window but the first 2 days were booked, When the 3rd day came around we got Monday-Saturday at BCV and wait listed the first 2. 2 weeks later I called and was able to get Sunday added but The first Saturday was booked. About a week later got all 8 nights at BCV. we are going the last of Oct. 3 weeks from Saturday.

Good luck and if wait liste keep calling to see if you can add one day at a time.

I got a BWV standard studio for the last weekend of October at about 3 months out. Started out with the first 2 nights (Fri/Sat) and waitlisted for Sunday, which came thru a few weeks later. Thought for sure I'd have to settle for SSR or OKW (which I would have gladly done, but since the sole purpose of my trip is to visit F & W Festival, I was thrilled to get BWV.)

We are leaving for a 7 day stay at BC studio on Sunday. I called at 7-months out and did not have to waitlist.

Called 8 months out for 2BR standard view at BWV Oct 10-17. Waitlisted for the 11th, and also the 15th (able to get BCV those nights tho). Oct 15th came thru about a month later. Still waiting on Oct 11th. I'm thinking at this point it doesn't look good.
