Free Dining has been extended through December 21....but my dates are blackout dates...BOOOO!!!!
Congrats to those of you that get to take advantage of this GREAT offer though!!!!

Oh NO! That just makes it really hard to get into any restaurant. Although, I'm sure, since we're going the week of Thanksgiving, it will be blacked out! Wheww!! We don't get free dining since we're AP holders at DVC. You have to be on a regularly priced PACKAGE to get it.

Yeah. I thought about that too. The only ADR left for me to schedule is our Candlelight Processional dining package. I REALLY hope I can get it!!! If ONLY Disney would hurry up and release them!! Everything else has worked out GREAT! I read that they blocked out the first week of December b/c of the Pop Warner kids they are pretty much full anyway. We went at the same time in December 2007 and sure we saw a few of them around but it was no big deal at all. REALLY hoping it's that way this time!!!

Hey! Pop warner is a big youth football and cheerleading organization that has their playoffs (I think) in Orlando (I think at the sports complex there in WDW.) They stay on Disney property and you will hear all kind of horrible stories..but we were there in 2007 and saw them...but they were not a problem.

I have to update some of my plans...changed resorts due to FD so I wouldn't have to kill myself in working overtime! Anyway, I'm now staying at POR instead of Poly, same dates. Only thing I'm changing is:

If you join Touringplans.com Its like $5.00 or something if you have The Complete Unofficial Guide to WDW 2010 edition. about $10 if not. You can then look at a whole years worth of crowd calendars and find out how crowded your week is expected to be based on their very scientific formula.

IMHO free dining is over rated. You're better off getting a room discount and paying OOP for the food you REALLY want to eat.

I know that they start booking the ADR's Aug. 5th or 6th for Sept 10th or later.... they're doing a soft opening on August 5th with walk-in only until Sept 10th. So no ADR's!! yeah... My DH will accept that. So, sometime between August 12th and the 19th I'll be trying it. I shall report back on my experience. Hopefully, we'll get in!!

Details about the food? Mindy5767 gave the same details I know about making ADRs and opening. The food is supposed to be real neopolitan pizzas made in ovens with imported water from Naples I'm really excited for real pizza, the pizza my mom and I had on our one trip to Italy was great and I'm hoping Via Napoli will be somewhat comparable. They have other foods like pastas and salads, I hear. I think the menu is up on Disney Food blog. I was hoping it would be CS though.

We're IN! November 27 - December 4th... driving from the Carolinas. Maybe taking Amtrak - we'e not 100% either way yet.

AND SO EXCITED!!! First trip for ALL of us and I can hardly stand it.

I CAN use my Samsung Reality to post to facebook. I only did it once to test it. I'll have to try to figure out how I did it. Luckily DH has the same phone, and he's better at figuring out little technical stuff like that. In fact, I think he knows how. I'll have to practice. I think posting to the DIS from my phone would be WAY over complicated... although I think it is possible. It would probably take me ALL day (or the length of time it takes to wait for TSMM whichever come first ) to figure out.
