Who wants to help some rocks road trip to WDW?

My hubby's uncle is setting some rocks around the US (and possibly abroad) to see how long it would take for them to road trip to Disney World (not being left on property obviously). He is a fan of the mouse and wanted to do something fun since he had to reschedule some trips this year, along with so many others.

His looking for someone to place a rock on the North East Coast to start its journey.

The rocks are being painted, we will send one to you and you just place it somewhere that gets great traffic - you know, like a campground haha- and we will put it on the website.

Im in. Lol. Never trasported rocks across state lines, but at least its not firewood. I set out on halloween for the fort and will be stopping at 2 campgrounds on the way down and one diffrent on the way home, so 3 rocks for me. Or 4 if you want one at the fort on the sly.

I’d drop one at CG up here in CT, although I think I would not have much luck as CG’s will be closing soon after it was left out....would be better to set out in spring up here. Oh well, unless he wants to have a few start their trip next year....

We once did a similar thing with a book. We left a copy of Peter Pan by the statue in Hyde Park, London and it took just over 3 weeks for it to find it's way to Magic Kingdom. It actually went via Canada and we kept in touch with the family who made the last journey.

I think right now we have all the rocks sent out. This is the trial run troubleshoot the process, so there may be future rocks. The mastermind already decided he would love a "Fort Rock" that just travels through the campsites.
