It seems the Disney Magic ends when we leave the parks and hotels...
The Story
DGF, a couple friends and myself went to DLR for spring break. Now, my friends and myself being big Star Wars fans, all had to build light sabers at Star Traders. It worked great and when we got back to our room, we tore up the place with epic light saber battles
. It worked all week, and time came for us to leave; so I packed it up and headed home.
The Problem
When I get home and unpack the saber, I press the button and nothing happens...So I think to myself, well maybe something was pressing the "on" button all throughout the trip so the batteries are just dead. I throw in new batteries and still nothing (ironically, this same EXACT thing happened to my sorcerer's hat
). I even took it apart looking for a loose wire and found nothing. And since I can't drive 800 miles back to replace it, and I can't buy another one anywhere around here, I'm looking for anyone to help me.
The Solution
So I'm looking for anyone who is going to DLR soon and is willing to exchange the hilt (handle) for me. And also trade out current purple blades for red blades (if possible).
The Plan
I will ship light saber to you. During your trip, you will exchange hilt and blades (if possible). After returning, please ship light saber back.
In exchange for doing this kind act for me, I will provide 2 Preferred Seating Tickets for 2 of the 4 available shows of your choosing.
