My son and step son have been up since 6 AM reading to each other loudly.. after I told them to hush.

They have tried to scare each other when the other was coming out of the bathroom... after I told them to knock it off.

They are complaining (loudly) that the milk has a few tiny pieces of ice in it... after I told them to just suck it up and pour it on their cereal.

One of them has yelled up to me asked me if warthogs eat bugs...after I told them if they want something come up here and don't yell from the den.

They have turned up the TV volume.... after I have told them to turn it down.

Big Jeff and Little Jeff are still asleep and I really do not think either of them (the 9 year olds) wants either of them (the Jeffs) to wake up cranky.

I am afraid there is going to be a huge "I told you so" when the daddy comes downstairs hollering about the noise..... (why he hasn't yet is a mystery to me)

I'll trade !!! I'll trade"""

I have 2 teen DSs who are getting hormonal .. i'll trade for that versus a whole bunch of attitude, door slamming and physical stuff.. let me know.... :teeth:

..you could just hop on a plane and go to WDW by yourself. I sometimes have dreams about that and I've only got one DS5!!

Just reading your subject line totally cracked me up. There are MANY days I feel like this, although the culprits in my case are 14 and 10! I always say that there's just WAY too much testosterone in our house and not enough estrogen:hyper:

I really think the only time my two sons stop arguing, baiting, annoying, teasing or fighting with each other is when they're asleep:hyper2:

I love them both to pieces, but there are days I'd sell them--CHEAP!

I have two eight year olds here right now. DS and his good friend.
They are wild and fun. They want to eat anything that is not
nailed down-especially the food that takes big prep by me-
NO!
They have watched every show, played every game, gotten
wet then dry, had sword fights and played a running-yelling
game.......I've locked myself in my bedroom asking to know
if anyone bleeds.
I'll trade ya!

Melora,

I love your posts! Your house sounds exactly like mine this morning, except mine are 9 & 5 and female. I was trying to keep them quite because if they wake up the two year old all heck breaks loose!

I'l trade. I have a pair of 16yo twin boys. And they come with a large pack of surfing/skateboarding friends and girls in bikinis. Also complete with gray hairs, driving lessons, really dirty bedroom, humongous appettite, smelly shoes, .....
One is going to the prom next week and refuses to have any discussions with me about plans, and really doesn't want mom and dad saying smile we're taking your pics.

Maybe you could trade the two 9 year olds for one 18 year old, then throw him out of the house(GET A JOB, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN NOW);)

At least you are not hearing at all hours "Mine, MINE!! My shoes, my blankie, my paper (no that is your sister's) Not Alex's, MINE. My sheet, my room (no again that is your sister's look, barbie, purple walls- yours are blue), to which he responds My barbie, My nummy, my crayons, my door... want a two year old????? I will take two nine year olds after hearing NO!!! for the billionth time.

I like it when I can put the fear of God into them, DS is not there yet!
