Good for you not letting them get in the the middle of your plans! I always tell friends focus on the honeymoon first then if they can afford it the big wedding because somone always seems to make weddings about them. Whereas the honeymoon is the start of your life together as your own family unit. You will remember it more too Looks like you get both wrapped into one.

I love what you said about the honeymoon though because I know that sometimes my DF and I will be more excited for our honeymoon than our wedding. Not that the wedding isn't going to be wonderful... We are actually honeymooning at Aulani and we'll make a stop over at Disneyland on the way home. The cruise to our ceremony on CC is kind of an added bonus. We were originally going to have an Escape wedding but opted for a DCL wedding because it ends up being cheaper (with cruise fare) and we get four days of wedding excitement out of it, as opposed to one. The wedding will be on the last day of the cruise before we sail to Cape Canaveral, where we'll depart for our Hawaiian/Disneyland honeymoon. I am excited beyond words!!!!
