oh sheesh, I forgot how whiny Hope and Micheal were. LOL
I used to love this show, so last night I watched a couple episodes from season 1 on Netflix. I couldn't take the whining, I couldn't watch anymore.

I do still love the Gary and Melissa characters though.

maybe I will try an episode from a later season. I think it got a little better. maybe...........:rotfl:

I knew that was going to be my life!!!!
Had a mad crush on Michael:lovestruc

Life couldn't have turned out more different......

Just watched a clip on YouTube from season 1.

ROFL. The hair. The styles. They are so young.
I had forgotten.

Thanks for the reminder. :rotfl:

I tired to watch it, I thought they were whiny and depressing back then. I never understood why it continued as long as it did.

When Patty Wettig and Ken Olin (Holly and David) joined Brothers and Sisters, I remembered why I didn't enjoy Thirtysomething (Nancy & Michael). My least favorite characters on both shows.

I was thirtysomething when that show aired. I even had a sweatshirt that simply said "thirysomething". I gave it up in my early 40's!

I don't remember the whining (uh-oh, maybe I was a whiner!)

In real life Hope (Mel Harris) used to ride the school bus with me. She was older than me. Maybe I should have asked for her autograph back then:)

I loved Thirtysomething!

I have the whole dvd series.

I was "thirtysomething" when it was on.

I loved this show. I was so sad when Peter died.

The show was on during my college years. I watched it religiously the first couple seasons but not as much toward the end. It would be interesting to see the show again and see how my view of it has changed 20 years later.

OH I loved that show! I was in my twenties when I watched it. I cried and cried when Gary died and my DH thought I was crazy. :rotfl2: I was sorry to see it end. I didn't know it was on Netflix - I'll have to order it. Would love to see it again.

I was in my twenties when I watched too, and I sobbed when Gary died. Did not see that coming!

its on the instant stream on netflix:thumbsup2
all 4 seasons

My biggest memory of that show was when all the couples went to dinner, and Gary and his wife (can't remember her name) just had a baby, and all they could afford were salads.

OH and when Melissa went to LA for a photo shoot, she was so dehydrated and clutched the biggest bottle of water she could find.
