Hi everyone! Sorry this is a bit late, but we had such a great trip and I wanted to report about it!
December 14th:
We arrived at MCO at 11am. Check in line for ME was loooong, but it went fast! Arrived at All Star Movies resort...our first time at a value, and honestly, it wasn't so bad at all!! We had a corner room in the Woody section. Very convenient!
We headed to Epcot, and immediately rode Spaceship Earth. LOVE the first half of this ride, but this ride is not nearly as magical for us without the sparkly city and awesome music at the end. We really mourn the loss of that part, haha!
Went to the World Showcase and saw the France film for the first time...what a lovely film. Made us want to go there!
We had dinner at the Biergarten, and they had our reservation messed up, but were still able to get us in. What a fun place! Loved the show and I ate SO much food. DH had a giant beer and enjoyed the food. We will go back there for sure.
We enjoyed a little Off Kilter as well...LOVE them!
Finished the night with Illuminations
I was not too happy when we got back to the room and I found out several items were missing from my luggage. There was no TSA form in there, so I don't know who went through it, but I immediately knew someone had because of the zipper being zipped incorrectly. I opened it and 90% of the snacks we brought (including my oatmeal pies!) were gone, as was my toiletry bag. They took my drinks, too. I had to buy all new stuff at the gift shop...I have never had anything like this happen before
December 15th:
We arrive at Epcot for opening. We were waiting to be let in and during that time, my DH was crapped on by birds THREE times! Talk about bad luck! We were able to wash him off as best as we could
We were able to ride everything without hardly any wait, it was perfect.
We then took the boat over to MGM, on the way there, we say a film crew filming a new DVD with a CM host names Asa. We were intrigued by this and I look forward to finding out more about it!
We get to MGM and decide to just wait for TSM. We waited about 30 minutes for it, but it was worth it, what a fun ride!!! We loved it.
We were pretty tired so we ended this night early after riding Tot and RnR and went to bed. On ToT though, there was a school group of girls who were being EXTREMELY annoying, they kept yelling out the F word over and over again for no reason. I saw parents covering their young kids ears. Not cool!
December 16th:
We arrived at AK nice and early for opening. First we did the safari, which was the best one we had ever done, we got up close and personal with a giraffe!
We then decided to take the Rafiki train since we never had before, and as we got off, we were given Dream Fast Passes by the dream team! I was beyond excited! Everyone kept looking at them all day!
We ate at the Yak and Yeti counter service place, we used some snack credits on egg rolls and rice, good use of snacks!
This is my fave part...we were walking along, and we saw the film crew again. But, this time, there was Joe Rhode! He was there to be on the DVD to talk about Everest. It was really cool to see him. I cannot wait to see what this DVD is!
We finished up with more MGM and Fantasmic...then we headed over to O'Hana for dinner. This place is still one of my faves, but I miss the potatoes and old Shrimp. We had a perfect window seat and got to see holiday wishes, it was wonderful!
December 17th:
Today was MK day! Not much to report, everything was walk on, it was awesome! We had rode almost everything by 4 and had time to take in a yummy dole whip!
We headed to AKL for Boma dinner which we never have tried. I liked it, but probably won't go back again, we like other places more. But it was nice to try!
We caught Spectromagic and Wishes and headed back to the room
December 18th:
Today we went to Epcot to finish up some stuff, and ended with MGM and a dinner at Prime Time Cafe. Still one of our favorite restaurants!
Our flight left at 9 and we arrived in NH at midnight.
It was a great trip!
