I know a lot has been written about anniversaries at Disney. I never thought of mentioning to anyone that we will be there on our anniversary(17th), until I starting reading it here. Now I want to tell them. The problem is that I think it is to late. We will be there Aug 28. Our TA at CAA made all the reservations etc and I don't know who to call. Or would it be best just to mention it when we arrive.

Maybe it was just our bad luck, but we didn't get much special treatment when we went for our anniversary. I had faxed a nice request for a certain room location at All Star, and even though we did get a decent location, I don't think it was where we requested.
Also when I made PS reservations at California Grill, I mentioned that it was our anniversary and we'd love a table by the window to view the fireworks. So what do we get? A booth by the kitchen! As it turns out, with the lights dimmed, all the seats in the CG were good for viewing. We did get a complimentary dessert with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate.

Anyway, I know that didn't answer your question, but my advice would be to tell anyone who will listen! You have nothing to lose, and possibly some nice little perks to gain! I'd be sure to put it on your reservation, remind the CM when you check in, and ask them to add a note to all your ADRs, too.

Hope this helps! Have a nice trip! :flower:

We didn't get a lot of special treatment, but weren't really expecting any, either. We got to ride in front of the monorail, by ourselves, which was really nice, and we got a great table at the California Grill to watch Wishes as well as the special dessert.

Have a happy anniversary!

Happy anniversary! :)
We were at the Contemporary on our anniversary last year. When I made the reservation, I requested MK view (which we did end up getting) and just asked them to note that it was our 10th anniversary. I think you could call your TA and just ask them to call Disney and put that note on the reservation.
On our anniversary we came back to our room and found a lovely little balloon bouquet and a photo card personally signed by Prince Charming and Cinderella! I didn't really expect anything at all--just hoping maybe the notation would help us get the view we wanted--but what a nice treat that little card was.

Have fun!

Thanks for your comments. I never thought of having the CM put a note put on our ADR's. Do they have a list of them or do I need to give them a list? I think I will also give a call to my TA. I have become such a pain in the ----, but she can do all these things so quickly. When this trip was first planned we were going to go in March but then we found out that my husband has cancer and would be having chemo then, so we changed it. We booked it for the end of Aug., then the free dining came out, so we got in on that. It was just recently that I was really looking at the dates that I realized we were going to be there for our anniversay. My husband is feeling well, my kids are well, and we have free dining. Everything is going so smoothly. I feel like I couldn't ask for anything more. But I figure it wouldn't hurt to let others know. Thanks for you help.

Upon checking in at the WL we mentioned that we had stayed there on our honeymoon and had a pool/lagoon view and were wondering if it was possible to upgrade our room to that. They did it free of charge! A nice gesture on their part.

Our TA mentioned it when she made our PS's at Cindys and we got special treatment and a special suprise. She also mentioned it at WL and we got nothing, thats okay we didn't even know she had mentioned it at either place.
We bought Mickey and Minnie bride and groom head pins just because we thought it would be fun to wear them. This brought us lots of congrats we didn't expect and the CMs seemed to love that we were on our 24th honeymoon. Even stopped the security lines at MK. We were making a ps for later in the day when a CM noticed our pins (she was earning her ears) She wanted to put something on our ps but I told her the anniversary was the day before. Her trainer came over and told her to go ahead and do it anyway and we had some nice suprises at Boma including a song.

We weren't really expecting anything and just wore the pins because we were celebrating ourselves so the extra attention was a nice suprise even the congrats from other guests and cms.

I emailed my TA late last night and first thing this am she emailed me back and she had it put on my ressies. She's the best.
