I don't remember if these were through SR or CD but I signed up for the Cooking Club of America offer and the PGA Tour Partners Club offer....both of which were free. Today in the mail I got invoices from both of them stating I have a $12 Membership fee for one and a $24 membership fee for the other...to be paid by 5/25. Do I have to cancel these?? I could have sworn they were free and didn't require any cancellation but I guess I'm wrong!! Any help is appreciated!!

Write cancel on both and send them back.

Okay great, thanks!! I just wrote both of the offers an e-mail stating I wanted to cancel, but I'll make sure I send these back as well.

I wrote cancel and sent mine back yesterday all of the magazine offers the ones for $1.10 this was the case. I'll probably also follow up by email in a week or so to make sure everything is cancelled!

Yes you have to cancel these trails. I received my two invoices in the mail yesterday. All you need to do is call both Clubs and tell them that you need to cancel your membership. It is very easy and they don’t push you at all to stay with their club. I’m also sending back both invoices marked canceled on them back to each company. I didn’t receive a confirmation from either one but the PGA customer service guy told me that he would mail me a postcard stating that I had canceled and the Cooking Club customer service woman told me her ID number. If you have any questions, please ask. (You can find their phone numbers on their website under contact club.)

The info while signing up (I took notes) said specifically to return the invoices with "cancel" on them, so definitely be SURE to do that, even if you email and/or call as well.

Thanks for the replies!! Looks like I need to start paying for attention to the fine print on these offers!! I already e-mailed both companies stated I wanted to cancel...but I'll definitely get those invoices in the mail tomorrow with a big fat CANCEL written on them...hehe!! Thanks again!!!

Does anyone have a number for the PGA Tour Golf one? I never got an invoice and I really have to cancel. Thanks

You can send an e-mail to: MemberServices@PartnersClubOnline.com

In the subject write: CU1 Contact the Club

You can right to them and ask for your Trial Membership to be cancelled. I got a reply within 48 hours stating my Membership was cancelled.

I did however include my Member# which was on the invoice, but I'm sure if you just list your name and address they can look it up and cancel for you.

Thanks! I'll do that right now.:thumbsup2

I just e-mailed them and I got reply e-mails back stating they have been cancelled. I did all 4 of these magazine offers, so instead of wasting 4 stamps, the e-mails worked fine and were free! :)

What are the other two? I found them the other day, didn't do them, and now can't remember their names.

i don't know the exact names, but something similar to health and wellness and creative home arts

Thank you! Found them! Forgot that one of 'em never even sent me an activation email (and I haven't received credit), but they consider me to be a member. grr.

Shoot. I emailed them but got no cancellation verification emails in return. Did you just use the address that Winston1204 was nice enough to provide or did you click on the link through the newsletter. I was even able to provide my member #. I'm wondering if I should email them again.:confused3

I used the address on the "contact us" page of their website and just put "cancel membership" as the subject.

So, I'd signed up for Cooking and PGA, got the credits quickly, and I decided to cancel PGA. I'm actually keeping the Cooking mag. :)

Now I've tried to do the other two, as they actually look like something else I want to have, but on one I never received email confirmation (just emailed them about that, approx a week later) though their site says that I am already a member, and the other one sent me the confirmation email, but it hasn't come through with points!

It's very frustrating! Is anyone else in my situation, having joined two and things went well, but now the second two are NOT going well?

I know they had a craft one too that I signed up for and haven't gotten credit on that either. We kept the PGA one...my DH was excited about that.

Frustrated. Realized I'd gotten the invoice from Creative Home Arts Club yesterday, but never even received the email confirmation, so I *know* I won't receive credit from it. And I am going to keep this one, too. So even though I didn't put money up front for it (so there's probably no way to fight the power, ha ha), I *will* be putting money towards it...

I think I need to get more Zen about these rewards; I think I get too attached to them. Must stop counting chickens before they hatch! :upsidedow
