VGF price increases and new incentives come outWhat happens on 9/12??
@aceshigh73 - how long do you have to sign the contract with the summer incentives if new incentives are in place 9/12?Waiting to clear up some CC balances and apply for Wells Fargo Card (probably tomorrow) before doing downpayment and contract to purchase VGF.
Will be Thursday or Friday before we get the contract and we'll sign later this month.

I can't wait for 9/12 so these current incentives go away so I can finally stop getting tempted and beating myself up for not jumping on them! It's getting harder to resist! But I've firmly made up my mind I will wait for Poly 2 whatever that may bring!VGF price increases and new incentives come out
That’s going to be very temptingI've firmly made up my mind I will wait for Poly 2 whatever that may bring!
Keep fighting the good fight my brother, I'll see you on the other side when we clink our dole whip floats together..I can't wait for 9/12 so these current incentives go away so I can finally stop getting tempted and beating myself up for not jumping on them! Also there's almost no way they dont incentivize Riv even harder with this next round. I mean what other pressing need do they have but to start pushing Riv like they did GFVs. Only question is does Riv come to the same 161ish a point or even lower. I'm sure they'll keep MB for it again.
That sounds like a great plan! You will also pay less prorated dues.Waiting to clear up some CC balances and apply for Wells Fargo Card (probably tomorrow) before doing downpayment and contract to purchase VGF.

I truly believe we will see elevated RIV incentives because VGF needs to cool off. Maybe that should be a new option... who will rescind VGF and buy RIV instead based on incentives?Come onnnn RIV incentives![]()
You could always get a contract drafted and rescind without even signing!I can't wait for 9/12 so these current incentives go away so I can finally stop getting tempted and beating myself up for not jumping on them! I think so, you locked in a great price! I can't imagine a new promotion that lowers the price more than the $13 increase. We signed back in June. Does that count?
I figured incentives were near good as it gets and we needed Sept UY. Paid it off last Friday
Good luck everybody!
I'm probably delusional but I truly think at some point sooner than later they will give us the opportunity to get in at a "decent" price. I truly do feel that 180s at some point with incentives are a real possibility. So do I love GFVs at 161? Sure! Would I be able to afford both in a short amount of time AFTER having just bought resale? No. So I love the Poly more and I think this new tower will be absolutely gorgeous. And I'm willing to pay 20-30 pp more in a year or two. If it never gets that cheap then screw it maybe I'll just grab a Poly resale bc at that point I would imagine they would be even cheaper than today. Either way I will have my Dole Whip! That’s going to be very temptingWe may not be able to resist
I feel like us RIV lovers are few and far between compared to VGF. Also a lot of people are not willing to accept the resale restrictions like us die hard RIV owners so most won't be interested. If I didn't want Poly that much more I probably would be adding VGF right now but it doesn't make sense for us to have 2 monorail loop resorts.I truly believe we will see elevated RIV incentives because VGF needs to cool off. The rumored new pricing made me think RIV might be poised for very attractive offer. Good point that it could changing minds. Can you add that option? Would be interesting to see how many.I truly believe we will see elevated RIV incentives because VGF needs to cool off. I think you have a smart plan. You will also get the member pricing when Poly goes on sale with your resale points so just wait it out. You will end up with the resort you truly want.I'm probably delusional but I truly think at some point sooner than later they will give us the opportunity to get in at a "decent" price. I understand! I was thinking I may add Poly tower direct, but it's so close to VGF and I don't really need both soooo I think I am just adding extra VGF as my "restricted resort SAP" for the spring when larger units are more readily available.I feel like us RIV lovers are few and far between compared to VGF.
