Who saw the shuttle launch at WDW last week?

We watched from the walkway between the Swan and Dolphin. It just rose up over Atlantic Dance Company. The cheering was incredible. The high point of my trip I think!!

We were by the trees in front of the bridge to Adventureland. What made it so special was the feeling - everyone around was united in their excitement, support and hope for the mission!

Yep we were there getting ready to watch the parade! Pretty awesome!

We saw it from Downtown Disney marketplace... WAYYYYYY COOL

I was at Epcot last Thursday when the original launch was scrubbed. I left WDW the next day, but I saw the launch from the balcony of my hotel at Clearwater Beach on the other side of Florida!

I asked Cast Members at Epcot if they would delay Illuminations by a few minutes for the shuttle to launch. Every Cast Member I asked said No.

We saw it from the dock at the Poly. It was an awesome site!

We were in the American Pavillion in Epcot listening to the candlelight processional and taking pictures of Santa Claus. We took lots of pictures and are hoping they turn out well. It was amazing.

So were we!!!!!!! We were just walking away from the American Pavillion after listening to the processional. Our pics did not turn out, I used a high digital zoom but it just looked like a blurry spot in the sky. Gave me goosebumps to see it, I was glad my kids got to see it to.

Sadly, we missed it! We were on the bus, turning into the Marketplace, and we saw everyone looking up, but from the angle of the bus, we couldn't actually see it. If we had left a few minutes earlier, or hadn't hit those red lights... *sigh*

We saw it from the beach at the Poly. It was amazing and DH said it was his favorite part of the trip as he has always wanted to see a launch.

We where on the Seven Sea’s Lagoon, for our Wishes Cruise.
It was a truly awesome site.
