When we were at WDW for Christmas back in the 90's the candlelight procession was at the MK. The procession came down Main Street into Main Square. There was a massive choir raised up on tiered seating in front of the station and James Earl Jones did the narration from the station balcony. All the lights in Main Street were turned off as the procession came down - it was truly a magic and emotional experience. We were on the corner where Main Street meets Main Square on the Emporium side so the view was not the best and James Earl Jones was just but a distant figure, even so the whole experience was a wonderful lead up to Christmas.

I remember! My mom and I saw it there one year. We were in just about the same area to watch. Mom stood on the curb and I stood on the street in front of her, so she wouldn’t get a tall person blocking her view. It felt a lot more like a processional than a concert (which is how it feels at Epcot). I believe the theater in Epcot was smaller and more open air back then so it probably couldn’t support the show at that time.
