Who needs a room at HHI May 29 - June 5?

I just called to cancel. It was a 2 bedroom lock-off cash reservation, so I would think that it could also be rented as a studio and 1 bedroom. Perhaps at this point it could even be reclaimed for a points reservation? It would make me feel good to think that a DISer could use it. I am broken hearted about having to cancel. This is the second year in a row.

I'm so sorry you had to cancel Jean. I hope everything is OK.

Hopefully someone will be able to get those nights for a point reservation.

Thanks, Doc. And thanks for your help in getting this room reserved in the first place. After calling MS to cancel, I called HHI front desk to thank Susan again for going above and beyond to accommodate us.
In comparison to the problems life can include, canceling a vacation hardly qualifies as noteworthy. But I SO wanted my DH to enjoy this resort. His health problems forced him to sell his boat and I know he would be so happy to hang around the Shelter Cove Marina. The slow pace of HHI would also be easier for him than WDW. The most discouraging part is that the collateral damage from radiation that is causing his problems now are not likely to go away. Okay, pity party over. Thanks for listening.

I too had to cancel my HHI trip this May due to health reasons( my 2nd time cancelling!) I have exchanged with another DIS'r so I'm planning my 3rd attempt at HHI for next year 2011 Memorial Day weekend and week. I am determined to get there and will have a glass of wine waiting for you! Try again for next year!
