Who knows how to get the real (not online) VMK pin?

Maybe the pin was a Disneyland-only thing.

Nope VMK central at MK knew all about the pin on Tuesday when I asked. I can remember those pins on a small turning pin stand on the counter the day we learned about VMK in July.

As Tink says, it was a WDW thing too. I knew of the pins a while ago, but no one seemed to know how or when they would be released at WDW. Needless to say, it was quite disappointing to know we'd been there and missed them on this last trip :(

I hope you all get the pins you are entitled too!

This happened to us when we took the Hook Fireworks Cruise we got the wrong pin it took contacting WDW CR but we got our pins and again at a AP event I again had to contact WDWPR because they had run out of pins and we failed to get ours.

So Good Luck and maybe Mickey will send you a magical treat!

For those who are already pin collectors, the pin is listed on PinPics.com so you may be able to work a trade with one of the pin collectors on the DIS board collector forum.

This is a fairly rare pin so the auction prices will probably continue to run high for it since you are competing with pin collectors as well as VMK collectors. Always tough with a rare pin that has cross-collectible interest.

I have a strong feeling that in time this pin will be found again at Disney. Many rare pins seem to recirulate in time. We found a boat load of POTC Disney Quest pins that were given out to the press at opening of DQ years ago. We also found a bunch of Duck port pins that were GWP pins. Both were free pins, that were found at WDW a year or more after their release. Of course, we traded all but one away, but we got great stuff for it.

I was in WDW from 12/23-12/27 and they were not giving the pins or the tour card packs. In fact the cast member was a little put out that I asked. Anyone have problems with Eric?

Britany said they were giving them out. Then to see if they were still doing it, she asked (I think his name was Josh), and he said no.
