who is scared of mission space?I am because like 2-3 people died on that ride and + i don't like the take off.I like rides like if any of you know Cedar Point,i can handle Top Thrill Dragster, mill. Force, and all those big rides but not that.

I love it a lot. I ride it everytime I go......I hate the fact that people died on it nows..... :guilty:

ITs so sad.....when I heard I was so shocked........ :guilty:

Mission: Space is one of my favorite rides. It isn't the ride's fault that people died on it, they had heart conditions.

I'm not afraid to ride it, it just makes me dizzy sometimes when I get off, not one of my favorite rides though.

I haven't gone on it, but the only thing that worries me is that I might get dizzy or sick from it.

I love it. Don't live your life in fear.

I coudln't agree more.

Its intense. and people get on there without realizing that. But it is a fantastic ride.

One of my favorites!I'm so sad it's got such a bad rep!I'm sorry for all the people who died and their families.I've never gotten sick or dizzy,my grandma hasn't either.I like it better than Soarin or Test Track I think!

I second that.
I've gone on a bunch of times (sometimes one after the other) and yes I do get a little dizzy, but it's an amazing ride.
It's a shame it's getting a bad reputation...

i think the reason the people died on it is that they had heart conditions, thats all. :thumbsup2

Exactly.
The actual percentage of you dying is like 5%. sure, like three people died on it. HOW MANY MORE HAVE RIDDEN IT? times the amount of times they've been on it.
my dad has back problems- went on it twice - he's not dead. he's fine.

i won't go on it because it's not my kind of ride, not because i'm afraid i'll die. i'm more afraid that i'll get sick (puke, which i have a phobia of).

wait you have a phobia of puke? well i guess its possible. oh well but i think the stats are really good and that should be enough to help ease whoever still doubts the ride :thumbsup2

it's called emetephobia or something like that. i'm just afraid.

wow. this ones new!! add it to the phobia of red and the phobia of vegtables and youve got your top three most unheard of phobias!!!! sorry, :offtopic:, all my fault!!!

I know what you mean, but the percentage has to be waaaaaay less than that. 5% = every 5 out of 100 people who ride it would die. And probably hundreds (or thousands maybe? idk) of people ride it everyday.

Lets say 1000 people ride it every day and its been open for one year. two people have died on it. So in total 52000 people have ridden it. so the equation becomes 2/52000. which is 26000. One person out of every twenty six thousand dies.
