Who is watching "Saddam" on CNN?

They are showing "Saddam" among a crowd of people and they are questioning if it is him or a body double. Reasons why they doubt it is him are that people are coming up and touching him and kissing him on the cheek - the real Saddam doesn't want people touching him for fear of poisoning. They also think the "crowd" might actually be family members and military out of uniform. Very interesting.

If he's alive, he's not THAT stupid to go out in plain view with thousands of American troops only miles away and hostile aircraft in the area.

I agree with Geoff_M, I think it's unlikely that the real saddam would put himself at such risk. It's one thing to show a current newspaper in a taped address to prove you are alive but to do something like this actually points to the likelihood of it being a double instead of saddam.

He did look quite healthy, didn't he?!?!?!

I don't know what to think but I hope the final push is soon. The more chance "he" has to rally support, the longer it will be.

This is the downside of our instant-media. I am playing "arn-chair" quarterback without the insights of those in charge. It's part of my human nature to resolve all inconsistencies. I can't turn the TV off but it is driving me nuts!!!!!
