Who is waiting for SWA out of PVD?

Waiting for flights November19-27! I live in Worcester and the Allegient flight times are horrible. The return flights are usually at 7:30 in the morning! Happy Waiting everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has woken up in the middle of the night wonderiing if SWA has opened new dates? Anyone getting up to check in the wee hours of the night? Just wondering...not that I have been doing that. Wink. Wink. :rotfl:

Anyone else out there patiently (or not so patiently! )waiting for fSWA flights to open out of PVD?

Hang in there fellow dis members, those SWA fares will be coming out. We booked airfare out of PVD,the direct flight.....a great deal and no stress of traveling to either Ct or Logan. Crossing my fingers the fares come out soon.

Hi,
I'm waiting for 8/19 - 8/27 out of PVD. I need a direct flight to book my nephew on. I am comming out of Austin and plan on meeting him at the gate in Orlando. I need a direct flight, with the right timing and pretty much SW is the only choice.
This waiting is driving me craaazzzyyy !!!

PVD is most convenient, but we could definitely do Manchester, NH, too. However, both are SWA. Our dates are 8/23 - 8/31. I am fearful that even when the dates open they are going to be extremely high anyway... still don't know what to do...??? JetBlue out of Logan will be roughly $210 r/t...that may be the best route. Have I mentioned that I just don't know what to do? Initially paying high for SWA and hoping to rebook later at lower rates would be okay, too, since we have a tentative Thankgiving weekend, queen and princesses only trip in the works, (we could use any possible SWA credit then).

:confused3  :scared1: :confused3  :scared1:

Yep, booked Jet Blue too... Sept 14-20th.. Flown them before and are very happy with them.. $89 each way, leather & pre reserved seating, but for us.... the real bonus is Direct Tv on every seat!! No need to pack dvd player, and all the other stuff that goes along with entertaining on a plane

hmmmmm....after reading your post, Jet Blue is looking better and better! Leather seats? reserved seating? and directv? Tell me more about the directv, please! How many channels does each person have to choice from? How about HBO and the other movie channels? channels for kids? Please tell me more!

I'm waiting too. I booked 10 nights at POFQ starting 8/23 with free dining. I figured those 10 nights would give me enough wiggle room to book flights for a 7 or 8 night stay. I don't really want to book Delta or Jet Blue even though Logan is closer because PVD is easier to get to and cheaper to park.

I'm still hopefull that with a bit of flex in my schedule I could maybe get a Ding for $69 one way????

I think I best enjoy my May 1 flight at $115.60 RT. My May 19th trip is $135.60 but I'm really worried about the Aug trip and of course that is the one where I have to purchase 6 RT tickets.

Here is the link from Jetblue for entertainment. I believe they now have movies too. Every headrest has a tv, so everyone can watch what they want. Also, there is a in flight tracker map so you can see where you are, what your altitude & speed are. Also, you can put in your dates of travel and print out their guide. They have a great variety of channels...

We love them :cheer2:

Just found this thread. hmm, funny I never saw it before. I'm waiting for pvd. 9/29 - 10/15. I was disappointed when sw only released til 9/12. I hate playing this waiting game.

But not yet....$261.00 rt? Yikes!!! Now the wait is on for a system wide sale. :thumbsup2 We did not purchase our tickets. We are locked into our dates since I'm renting points from a friend, but I'm willing to add dates ;) if I have to.

Hi, I JUST found this thread, after posting my own on "Waiting for SWA-Summer SALE." I am waiting for tickets out of PVD in July, dates somewhat flexible, but I also think OW $122. is too high. So hopefully they will have some cheaper fares in the NEAR future! Joan

I say YIKES too!!! I will wait a while longer. Our dates are somewhat flexible. I booked free dining for 10 nights with the idea of dropping 2 or 3 nights off when I finalized air.

We booked today-nine RT tickets from PVD to MCO. More than we wanted to pay! :faint: However, DH and I are just happy it is booked-the waiting was frazzlin! The way we look at it? Higher fares but free dining? Works out to still be under what we had origianlly budgeted for. You know, is the glass half full or half empty? ;) Added perks to flying SWA out of PVD for us? Nonstop and the airport is literally 10 minutes from our home. :thumbsup2

Awesome deal with the Free Dining, you guys!! :thumbsup2 We will have the dining plan but not free as we are staying on points. I could have rationalized paying the $261.00 rt if we got the dining for free , but it looks like we will have to hold out for a sale! Still getting an awesome deal though...renting points from a friend, which actually works out to a greater that 50% off rack discount, so depending on how ya look at it, we are still saving...
Still now the waiting for a sale is gonna kill me

Anyone else nervously waiting for DECEMBER :surfweb: . If the prices are in line with what we paid in January ($59 each way) then we can go. Had to inform dh today that if the price of $122 each way remains we can't go :guilty:
