Who is the nicest TV star's you have met and who are the not so nice?

Leo DiCaprio - super nice, played couple of hours of golf with him and Bar (when they were still together)

Boris Becker and his wife Lilly - THE most adorable man, she was also fabulous, can quite understand how he got someone pregnant within 5 minutes of knowing them;)

Donald Trump - has more charisma than I thought possible

Keira Knightley - thinks she is GOD! ..... she's not by the way.

Waaaaaaay back, when DH and I were dating, Gene Roddenberry came to campus to speak to an auditorium full of students about the genesis of Star Trek, show the original pilot, and do a Q&A. After all that, I got to meet him. I was thrilled. I was a Trekkie from my itty bitty years. He was nice, but he could have probably have been an *** and I would have been thrilled as well. :rotfl:

:worship:
agnes!

After this weekend, I will have met William Shatner, Stan Lee, James Marsters (again), Lou Ferrigno, alot of the Walking Dead Actors, Adam Baldwin, Mary McConnell and a few more. :) So maybe I'll have some updates to the nice/not so nice list!

My mom met William Petersen (CSI) -- his mom went to high school with mine, and he took her to a reunion -- she said he was VERY nice.

One of my best friends is cousins with Tony Shalhoub (Monk) -- I got to meet him at one of her family events. You would never know he's a TV star, so friendly. She went out to LA once to visit her sister, and Tony invited her to come to the set of the movie he was working on, and said he'd introduce her to John Travolta. She thought and planned on what she would say to him -- when she got to that point, she couldn't do more than "ahh, ahh , ummm...", but she said he was very sweet to her and got her to relax. Then she met John Lithgow, and said she would have followed him anywhere, he was so sweet to her.

Nicest:
Jeff Gordon
Greg Biffle
Kyle Busch (Surprising)
Kevin Harvick
Omar Visquel
Jim Thome
Micheal Jackson (Met him at Downtown Disney)
Gene Simmons

Mean:
Tony Stewart
Joey Logano
Travis Hafner
Kurt Busch
Rusty Wallace

I know Patrick Dempsey from races and he seemed nice enough. I must say I've never seen his show so I thought he was just another rookie driver. I wondered for a while why people were making such a fuss over him!

As a Nanny I met a few famous people and all were very sweet.

The nicest guy ever...Mark Wahlberg. Met him in a mall in LA. He spent a half an hour taking to me and DH. He Knew as soon as I said name we were from Boston too. He talked about Boston and sports and if we liked CA. Then he got into his Bentley beeped the horn and waved at us. Like we were old friends. Kinda cool.

Rudest..Nancy Kerigan.

Super nice

Bob Costa - I was staring at him at a restaurant, thinking I knew him and he was very nice and the guys I was with thought I actually knew him :lmao:

Katherine Zeta- Jones - I didn't want to like her but she's lovely.

DH raved about working with Sela Ward.

Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer - both class acts.

We were hiking in CA last summer and walked past John Stamos. My DD yells 'OMG that's Uncle Jessie who married Emma on Glee'. He did a quick hello and DD has feasted on that since.

Not nice

Ben Stiller. I have friends that will NEVER work with him again and they will work with pretty much anyone.

I've met only 2 but both were really nice to me. I met both Naomi Judd & Susan Seaforth Hayes while living in Birmingham, Alabama area.

I have a co-worker who does consulting on TV/movies. Nicest she said was Robert Deniro. Worst was Ryan Gosseling. She said he is the most self centered and nastiest person she has ever met.

Sad really, stardom can go to someone's head like that. Let's face it people, you did not cure the world of cancer, you simply act in a movie. While yes we do admire you, you are not the end all, be all. Get over yourselves! :rotfl:

I would figured the Busch brothers would have been switched, I'm really shocked about Rusty

Yeah, I was surprised too. Kyle was leaving the track (Martinsville) and he stopped and signed for me and spent a couple minutes talking about the race to me and the whole crowd around us.

Kurt didn't even stop, and i lost a lot of respect for him after homestead.

Rusty completely ignored everybody, including the girl next to me with his car and his shirt on.

Jeff Goldblum is WONDERFUL. VERY flirtatious and sweet.

I used to do dinner theater with Edward Norton and he is a DOLL.

I must have been about 16. I was working at Magic Mountain in Valencia CA and they had a battle of the network stars there. I was a busboy in the restaurant the stars dined in.

Im not one to be star struck. People like that dont impress me. However, John Ritter was cool. Funny as heck. Just seemed like a guy to have fun. He was flirting and joking with everyone.

Joyce DeWitt was a term that refers to the feminine gender of a canine. I was bussing tables on the other side of the eating area. She walks over to me and asks me if I want her autograph. I politely said No Thank You Ma'm. She just started yelling at me if I knew who she was, and that she was famous.

I was like, So?

That just blows me away and strikes me so funny that someone would actually ask you if you wanted their autograph. That is so funny, yet so sad. It doesn't surprise me about John Ritter. He always struck me as a down to earth, really nice guy. His death was really a crying shame.

Barbara Bush was shopping in our store a few months ago and she was cranky as heck! One of my associates was actually waiting on her and I told her that it was nice to have her in our store and I hope that she finds everything that she is looking for. She didn't even acknowledge me. She sighed as she was digging through her purse. As she was leaving the counter a woman with her small child stopped her to tell her that her child had spent 6 months in the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center here in Portland and just wanted to thank her for all she has done for the hospital. She actually said to her "Why are you thanking me? I'm not her doctor!" :scared1:

Not a nice woman! Her husband on the other hand is a total gentleman. My friend attends the same church that they attend in Kennebunkport and they happened to be there when her son was being Christened. Mr. Bush asked my friend if he could hold her son. Of course she said yes and she asked if she could take his picture. He was so kind to her whole family. He even gave the baby a little kiss on the head when he left.
