Who is the most obscure Disney character that you have met in the Parks?

We saw Chicken Little and Ugly Duckling (i can't remember if she has a real name) a few years ago and were able to get a great picture of them at Studios, he was soooo cute! We also saw Gideon from Pinocchio in Epcot, I thought that was a little odd, I didn't think he's that well known. Sorry I cannot post the photos.

The first time we took our daughter, back in 1988, we met Smee at a character dinner. We had no idea who he was at the time because we hadn't seen Peter Pan.

Most of my obscure ones have been a while, but I've found Gadget, Rebecca Cunningham, the Three Little Pigs, the Gummi Bears, Strombolli, Maleficent, the Snow Queen, Phil, Meg, Hercules, Darkwing Duck, Liver Lips, all 3 Meet the Robinson characters (now obscure), French Pluto, Chinese Minnie, Canadian Goofy, Director Mickey, Producer Chip, Roger Rabbit...all sorts of characters. I'd post some pics if I could figure out how.

One year ('99 maybe?) I saw Scrooge Mcduck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie and Launchpad.
It was great they were all right outside of the Toontown Fair Tent.

WOW! Huey Dewey, and Louie! I'm so jealous!

Now I'm doubly jealous!

Obscure ones I've seen include:
-Roger Rabbit in 1997 (he rushed past us and gave us a quick hug before he dashed off to a character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine)
-Gaston in 1997 at DHS . . . don't remember exact location in the park.
-Mickey, Chip, and Dale all dressed in matching outfits . . . kinda hard to describe the outfits . . . the outfits were shiny, I remember that much. This was in 1997 at DHS near Animation.
-Director Mickey in DHS near Animation in 2000.
-Country Bears in various places . . . saw them in Liberty Square in 2000, and in 2003 saw them near the Castle and on the now-extinct Epcot Character Bus.
-White Rabbit in 2003 near Tea Cups.
-The Nemo character/car/puppet/robot . . . thing . . . in 2003 near Living Seas.
-Max: In 2003 in Town Square, and also at the Barnstormer (doing sets with Goofy).
-Chicken Little in Toontown in 2007.

I saw them at MNSSHP. I was glad, since I missed them at last year's Pirate and Princess party.

In April of 2007 we saw Lady tremaine and the step sisters (I just did a scrapbook page with their photos yeaterday! LOL), Chicken Little was in Toontown, and we saw Jiminy Cricket in the Animal Kingdom and I've since been told that he is rarely seen.

The year Tower of Terror opened, we met the 'owner' of the hotel. He was in a big purple suit and kept asking why "no one wanted to stay in his hotel". I've never seen him since.

Hugs for Eeyore - great site!!! I looked through all your pics but didn't see my mystery character. I know Beast, it wasn't him. It seemed like he was from an old movie like Robin Hood. Maybe it was Prince John, but like I say I remember him darker than that.

He's not there? Hmmm! Now you got me very curious! He was definitely an animal in full costume with a crown, and not a "face" character? Oh well - maybe this will be one of life's little mysteries that will never be solved!

I think the evil step sisters are pretty common right now..I saw them a few times in November '07..in MK

We saw the bear from Brother Bear in AK Kenai..I think..I had no idea who he was..we had to ask.

Her name is Darby. She has regular meet and greets at Pooh's Playful Spot along with Tigger and Pooh.

We had hoped that we would see her in December. But no such luck. The kids would have been thrilled.

Has anyone seen Marie from Aristocats lately???? We will be there in 2 1/2 weeks and my DD adores her. We have looked for her each time but we have never gotten to see her. If you have seen her, please let me know where to look. Thanks so much

I saw Marie twice on my trip last week. I saw her in France, near the gift shops close to the water. I also saw her at the ToonTown Train Station (Teardrop) area, but that is a very unusual spot for her. Definitely France has been the place to see Marie - we had to look around to find her, as she wasn't visable from the main sidewalk around the lake at Epcot. She could meet at the Big Hat at Disney Hollywood (MGM) Studios, but that is rare.

Asking at Guest Services could be helpful. But sometimes they always say "no" even if a character is out, as they just don't have the character information relayed to them and their computers. Have a great trip - hope you find her!!
