I always have such a hard time buying for my DH's sister every year!! Also, this year I'm having a hard time finding the "perfect" $15 gift for my Secret Santa person at school!:o

my father in law! I hate shopping for him...I hate giving him the same thing year after year... I use to put so much thought into his gift and then when he moved I found piles of the stuff! So needless to say I am at a loss. So it is car wash tickets, movie gift cards, dinner cert....

My husband! He owns his own business so any tools he wants he buys himself and writes them off. He wears jeans, t-shirts and flannel shirts to work and everywhere else so he doesn't need much dress up clothes. Just a few pairs of dockers and matching shirts for church when he deigns to wear them. The church we attend is very casual so he usually wears jeans.

I have to really keep my ears open throughout the year. There is a song that he hears occasionally on the radio that he likes about a rooster, so I was able to track down the artist and order the CD it is on for him. My son is giving him that. My daughter is giving him a new pair of camo pants for hunting.

As for me, we are buying garage door openers as a gift to each other this year.

My parents. Thankfully, they are ina financially comfortable position, so when they need something, they just go out and buy it.

I end up doing a handyman bucket for Dad(duct tape, black electrical tape, pencils etc)and buying them restaurant gift certificates, lotto scratch-offs etc. They really don't need any more "stuff", so that's what we go with.

My father is so hard to buy for and his birthday is five days before Christmas so I have to come up with two gifts right together. I haven't thought of anything yet for this year.

My husband is the hardest, because if there is something during the year that he wants, he just buys it so he never really needs anything. :(

Almost everyone on my list. Maybe that is why I haven't even really started.

DH, Mom & Dad, FIL, Grandmother, Sister and BIL.

The only ones that are easy are DD & nephew.

Husband here too .......never any idea unless he tells me very specifically what.
He doesn't like many DVDs.....very picky about tools. We don't do clothes for presents and he is allergic to scents.

My husband's step father. My MIL married him sometime after DH and I got married, so DH doesn't know him any more than I do!

My father! If he needs anything he buys it! Clothes, tools, you name it! Plus if I buy him clothes he never likes them!!!

believe it or not my oldest DGD (8) is my hardest!!
She has too much stuff now!
Her birthday is 3 days after Christmas so between that and Christmas she gets so much!!
I have started doing half year birthdays for her so I don't get her birthday gift until june.

She doesn't really play with toys. She likes crafts and video games and books. There are only so much of them you can get! OH well I'll find something!!!

My mom. She gives me a guilt trip if I get her anything for any occasion. But she loves whatever she gets too.

My dad. He is the hardest. DH is easy. There are a few staples I buy him every year. A favorite DVD or CD. White tube socks. Underwear. A fishing license for the upcoming year. A wall calendar featuring something manly for his office for the upcoming year. Malted Milk Balls - he loves those. Plus anything he actually "asks" for. Anyway, my dad only likes good vodka and lotto tickets. He has everything else he needs/wants. Oh well.

my younger sister-she returns everything! I finally found a gift she won't return-a trip to WDW:earsgirl:

My husband's parents, because he doesn't give me any help or ideas at all! My 2 aunts are also hard because I just get them something little every year. I can never remember what I got them the year before and I'm always afraid I'm going to get them something similar 2 years in a row.
