Costco will give you the same gift card no matter how you book your cruise as long as you use them. If you are using an on board booking, you just call Costco after you make your reservation and they e-mail you a form that you fill out to transfer your reservation over to them. Its a simple process. You can also use any form of payment you choose, you just have to go thru Costco so that they can call Disney to do it. I've used them for my last 6 cruises and have never had a problem they couldn't resolve. My gift cards have ranged from approx 165.00 to 475.00 and it comes about 1 week after you disembark.
