We always used Budget, and years ago, they were awful, but the last time we rented there, they seem to have streamlined their process and we were in and out quickly. I was impressed with the improvements. :)

I voted National, but I use Hertz. I really like them and thier buses at MCO are very efficient. Now they can be more expensive....

National, hands down. Great domestic cars, no waiting in line (Emerald Club) and competitive rates make it the best at MCO....

National! Nothing beats EA!! I love being able to get off the plane with my carry on luggage, bypassing the lines, picking the car I want - color, model, etc. (not the one they assign to me) and driving to the booth.

On average, I am on the road with my rental car in less than 15 minutes from when I get off the plane.

MayMom - EA is the Emerald Aisle for National car. This means you sign up with National ahead of time - giving them your credit info, etc., so when you get to the airport you skip the line at the counter and go directly to the row in the parking lot of the car class size you rented and pick out your own car. You then go to a kiosk at the end of the garage, hand them your paperwork and off you go in just minutes.(usually). Go to Mousesavers.com site and go to the "Transportation for your Disney vacation" area. Follow the links to National car and there is a spot to enroll in the EA for free. EA is the best and we've always had decent cars when renting from them - unlike Dollar or Budget when we weren't always happy with the cars assigned to us. That's part of the fun of our vacation - picking out our own car from the EA!

I have used both Dollar and National and like National better although Dollar was fine. I really like not having to go to the counter and have got some fine deals from National.

This trip (Sept 3-11)I'm going with Budget for just the weekend and then switching to National. I need 1 aditional RR credit to claim my free tix from SW ( 2 RR credits from SW for this trip and 1 RR credit from Budget) and if I rent from Budget I'll get it. However, to keep the car from Budget would cost me about $60 more that renting the weekend from Budget and then switching to National for the other 7 days. (Orlando-Sanford- Budget, Sanford-Orlando - National)
