Who is still home but wishing they were cruising?

Seems like the boat has sailed. What is everbody else doing this week? I have gift wrapping to do and some work to catch up on and a holiday program form my DS. Oh and preparing for my WDW trip in 2 weeks. What is everyone else up to?

It has been quite a while since I've posted anything on the Disboards.

I'm still at home, but wishing I was on the cruise instead, especially after seeing some of the Facebook/Twitter updates.

Yup. I'm at home and can only dream of what it would be like to be on PCC 2.0.

Let's see, I made quesadillas for DD3 and myself. exciting.

We went to Target and grocery shop today. We are still working on our trip in under 2 weeks.

I wished that I stocked up more on the sunblock back in October--hard to find.

2 weeks from tonight...we would be eating on first dinner on our first cruise. We are now spending NYE in Cozumel for the day (port lineup change around) and nighttime will be somewhere in nearby waters.

Just got off the cruise today and am still on

The boat was fairly empty and the weather was perfect. I'm very happy for everyone that just got on today and all the fun stuff they'll be doing but I wouldn't change the cruise we did for the world Plus it was dirt cheap.. that helped a bit

I took the ACT yesterday morning, then stayed home because of the huge rain storm that lasted all day. I worked from 9AM this morning until 4, then came home, and I can't go out because we're pretty much in a blizzard. Gotta love Wisconsin weather!

I'm SO wishing I were on the cruise! We actually were booked and paid but had to cancel last month
So we spent the day shopping for supplies for our new puppy we're getting in a couple of days! She's a 10 week old pure bred Australian Shepherd, sooo cute! Now i'm trying to find the perfect 'Disney' name for her, there are so many good ones to pick from

I gotta keep my running training going for WDW Marathon next month. No rest for the landlocked.

Just had the family over this weekend to celebrate my dd's 9th birthday. Great-Grandma stayed with us. Let's just say it was like having a fourth child in the house. A very needy, demanding child.

And everyone came back this morning for breakfast. It was a nice visit, but a bit crazy. Now I'm just preparing for her kiddie party next weekend. We're taking a few of her friends to a children's play at a local theatre.

I so wish we were on that cruise! Hope everyone is having fun.

We are home, too. After seeing all the pictures today of the folks on 2.0 in their winter coats, I'm not too sad to stay in NYC.

I'm making a Cabernet braised pot roast and rice pilaf for my husband right now, getting ready to watch the Dexter finale.

Lots of holiday parties this week, culminating in one at Rockefeller Center on Friday night.

And, ostensibly, training for my 15k next weekend, which I am woefully unprepared for.

We had a late birthday party for DS 5's little friend so we're having a light dinner of ham sandwiches and pretzels.

I feel a little better watching this cruise sail than I did for PCC 1.0 for a few reasons:

1. I'm already booked for PCC 3.0; so I know there'll be a next time!

and

2. Some FB pics today showed people on deck in their winter coats and hats. We'll be sailing in June when it's good and hot and we can enjoy our 2 days at CC.

I wish I was there! In fact, DS and I just said tonight that we wish we could leave after school on Friday and come home on the 23rd.

The sad thing is that we just got home 3 weeks ago. We had such a good time that we want to go back already!

Great win today Erika!!! On a different note we were walking down Moody Street in waltham last night and there was a place with Gluten Free beer and I thought of you. We have to get togther soon!!

Considering I shoveled the driveway twice today anyplace south sounds pretty good. I'll be in Orlando in less than 4 weeks for the WDW Half Marathon, so I'll try to be patient.
BTW, I made sweet and sour pork in the crock pot today.

LOL! I was at Bertucci's on Centre Street in Newton after going to Christmas at Fenway. We really do need to come up with a post holiday get togther plan!

We wish we were on the cruise! Of course we just got back from WDW on Thursday night! Just got to look forward and save for June 2012!!!

Wasn't there talk of a pity party while our friends were cruising? Of course when we could do it is the issue!

me, me, me, me! Saw all the FB updates and kind of glad that the connection isn't free when they're out to sea. Although, I do hope they all have a great time. Our next trip is in May

Worked on Christmas cards, bills, laundry, and made a pot of ham 'n' beans for dinner.
