Who is right - my friend or me?

A friend of mine is visiting WDW this week - she was convinced that between the war, no-fly zone and economy, it would be dead this week, Mar. 23 - 29.

After reading these boards for the last couple weeks, I told her I disagreed, that crowds would be heavy. So I need you all to give me the REAL scoop. No, nothing is riding on this, I just like to be right!

If the Beach here in FL is any indication of the "Spring Break" Crowds...you are right. Try getting a spot on the sand after 12pm is impossible. (To bad you should have put $$$ on it!!) LOL

Not a phrase i am particularly fond of!

From what people have been saying over the last couple of weeks, they are not going to change their plans because of the situation at the moment, so i don't expect the parks to be that quiet.

This week is Alabama's Spring Break. We went last year and said, "Never again!" It was packed! (It was also the week before Easter, though, which is not the case this year.) Anyway, our friends went this week, and I was wondering the same thing you were. Let us know what she says when she gets back and I'll let you know what my friends thought.

We just got back March 21st-March 25th. I thought crowds were light for March/Spring break. Epcot was EMPTY on the 22nd. No waits in MGM on the 23rd although it was raining off and on all day. Magic Kingdom Saturday night we walked on everything the last 2 hours!!! Monday at MK was crowded but fast pass worked great. Again the last 2 hours we walked on everything except Big Thunder-30 minute wait. Tuesday at AK NO lines. Kali was 5 minute wait!
