Where are you staying in Dec?? We are going in Nov. and splitting between SSR and OKW. I can't wait.

I planned on making a reservation for next August for 3-5 days at Kidani Village. I stayed at Jambo House last Dec. for a few days and loved it so am looking forward to the new Kidani section. It's so hard to narrow down where to stay...lol...we usually stay at BCV/SSR/OKW (one or two of them) in August but now with more choices I think I need more trips!

We stayed at AKV in March (concierge) and will be in a savanna view 2 bedroom the 3rd week of January next year. Unfortunately, then we will have to take a couple years off from AKV unless we can get a 7 month window booking with our OKW points.

Kidani is our next DVC stop. We did Jambo House-Concierge in April and loved it but when it came time to book this trip, I knew that I wanted to try out Kidani this time before I did concierge again. So, we've got a 1BR standard view reserved for June 27-July 2, 2009 at Kidani.

Yes!! We just bought there and are excited to have this as our home resort!! It looks amazing from what I have seen and we enjoyed our stay at the AKL so the villas will be a good fit. I am so excited!

We are going "home" for our first trip August 11-19th!!! I confirmed everything yesterday with MS. We got a special deal on developer points because we booked at the Doorway to Dreams near Chicago. Staying 5-nights in 1-bdr. SV and just added three more nights using our points. EIGHT glorious nights and only 78 points! This is such a "splurge" for me because I don't think I will use so many points for SV and 1-bedroom. I think I am usually going to be a std. view/studio girl most of the time. This room might "spoil" me though!

Just made our reservation for a Kidani Grand Villa Aug. 19-26, 2009! We are taking the whole family, kids and grandkids, to our favorite vacation spot. This is why we purchased DVC!!! I am hoping the entire resort will be almost complete.

We are staying in a standard view 2 bedroom in July for a week.
I figured a standview with a bed for each of the kids would be easier than a 1 bedroom standard view.
This will be our first trip "home".
In July when we were there (before we bought DVC) we had a savana view but weren't in the room to enjoy it enough to justify the extra expense. The kids wanted to spend all their time in the parks.

Great Thread!! We just decided today that we are going to buy into DVC in the next couple weeks. We have been to Doorway to Dreams in Schuamburg,IL many times and also did the one in WDW, but today we watched the DVC special on the Travel Channel and just decided it is time and we need to do it. I am so excited!! We plan to stay at the AKV in June in a 1 bedroom!! I am so excited!! Also, if anyone has pictures of the AKV or the rooms currently in the AKL I would love to see them!! We will be there July 5th-8th after the 4th at Polynesian, I hope it can live up to our stays at Jambo House. I am really excited about the extra bathroom larger kitchen and different savanna's at Kidani.
