There are also cucakes in the big thunder ranch area. There is no line there right now. I walked right up and got one.

We just got off the Nemo subs. Line was surprisingly short so we hopped in. It was very cute but super slow loader. Having a great time for our first day at DLR!

Those cupcakes look much better than the ones they gave away at the 50th. These are completely in theme whereas the 50th ones were just regular white cupcakes with plain white frosting. They were tasty though.

Got onto Main Street at 6:45, walked thru bag check and gates with no issues. They let us in at 7 and walked onto Space and Star Tours. Lots of people waiting in front of castle for speech and some sort of piano performance. Currently, sitting on bench at Towne Square people watching and waiting for the 10 am speech to be broadcast on the screen. Nice to see some people dressed up but majority did not dress up.

So sorry, missed the dismeet. I had gone completely off schedule this morning and my kids were NOT happy just wandering around when the parks got really busy after the 10am speech. I finally worked out a schedule and we ahould be fine for the rest of the day hopefully.

This morning was incredible. We were going to do EMH at DCA and hop over to Disneyland but we noticed it was open and there were short lines so we walked right in. We got the souvineer newspaper and buttons. Tons of cast members lined the streets and were high fiving everyone. They held people back at Main Street for a couple minutes then let us all go. Everything seemed to be open. We went right to fantasyland and Peter Pan was already a huge line but everything else was total walk on. It was so fun. We rode the carousel, dumbo, Snow White, mr. Toad and Alice. Then we went and got our cupcake. After that we went to DCA. At 10 we watched the speech at Carthay Circle on the monitor. It would have been better to see it from main St but those people waited 3 hours to see it.
