Who is not having a wedding at Disney or a Honeymoon but adding Disney touches?

I am not having a Disney wedding, I would love to but I have always dreamed of having a HUGE wedding with a lot of family and friends there. I live in Missouri and there is no way that all of the people I want to be there would be if it were at Disney. So we are having it at home with a few little Disney touches.

So far:
We are ordering a Disney Castle White Chocolate wedding topper.
When you Wish Upon a Star will be played sometime on the piano during the ceremony.


We are also not having a Disney Honeymoon because the last trip that we went to is Disney so we are just doing something different.

I know that I am on a Disney Wedding and Honeymoon page and that I am most likely in the minority but is there anyone else on here that is frequenting these boards even though they are getting married at home?

It is still awesome for me as I am seeing bridesmaid dresses, other e-rings and wedding dresses!

Welcome to the boards ! Don't see many midwest brides on here. I lived in Chillicothe for several years. I was actually a Missourian until a couple years ago myself !

You can add Disney confetti to your guest tables (can be ordered through Disney if you wish).

Hidden Mickey's in floral arrangements (or anywhere)...cuff links, groom's socks (mine had these).

There are just so many things...let your imagination run.

Just surf through threads and planning journals and you will find all kinds of ideas. This is the best place I found for information !

i'm having a Disney Castle themed wedding at home and am Disneymooning in DLR after for 8 days. Check out my PJ link below....i've gotten a lot of my ideas from the lovely ladies here on the board and come up with a few of my own!

Im also having a disney themed wedding since we can't afford/ have guests who can't travel. Our colours are pink and brown.

We have invites with the castle on them, napkins, a castle caketopper with the precious moments disney wedding couple standing at the base of the cake. I have the swarovski cinderella princess jewellry and in the base of my floral centerpieces, I have a plastic "glass" slipper. Our first dance song is "Beautiful" by Wayne Brady (if refrences Cinderella) and our dinner music is the disney fairytale wedding c.d. I alos have fairytale themed ring bearer pillows, guestbook and pen set, flower girl basket, garter,unity candle and unity candle holder. Oh and my card box is a large wire cinderella carriage.

My shower is going to be fairytale tale themed. And once the wedding is over we're going to disney world for 8 days !! If you need any help or ideas I'm here.
