I might be able to top you in the pathetic department. A couple weeks ago I drove DS10 to school, like every other morning, but forgot to stop and let him out of the car. I drove right through the loop and kept going.

Okay, I, too, am pathetic, but in the opposite direction. Every Sunday evening I pop in a movie and iron for all four of us for the whole week. Yes, I iron the t-shirts - talk about "loser".

I just can't get into that habit of it..

Believe me, some days I wish I could get out of the ironing habit. Although it is a great time to watch movies without interruption. The family stays out of the room because they are afraid I will ask for help!

I honestly haven't ironed since high school. I went to private school and we had to wear collared, button down shirts. I scoured thrift stores so I could accumulate about 30 shirts, allowing me to only have to iron once every 6 weeks or so. If I was lucky, I got my grandmother to do it for me, but if I didn't, I had a marathon session.

Actually, I owe that ironing procrastination to my starting a retirement account at age 16. My Dad was watching this show on PBS called the Wealthy Barber, and I was ironing in the same room. The host talked about how if you started saving for retirement early, you'd retire with millions, etc. My Dad said, "I think this would be a good idea for you to watch this and think about it." Held captive for about 2 hours by the iron, I did watch the whole thing, and at the end I agreed to put my summer job earnings into an IRA. I'll always remember that!

ETA: That Tag Fairy works at lightning speed!! I can't wait to show my DH!
