Who is going to the Merry Mixer on 12/24?

I assume that no ticket is needed for Epcot to go to this. Is that right? What do you think about being at Epcot and then going to the Merry Member Mixer. Will it be a problem to get back into Epcot (due to high attendance)? I assume you have to go outside of Epcot for this.

Hopefully we'll be there - I know I REALLY want to go - But It's our first day back at BWV with 'all' the family (10 total: my parents and sister her husband and her 2 little ones (7, 3) and my dh and my dd 16 and ds 20 all on points!)- I guess I'll just have to 'drag' them ;) , but I think the all the free food and characters will be the key to convince my family :rotfl:

Hopefully one of the folks who have been to a Merry Mixer will pipe in and answer your questions.

I think that the party is outside the International Gate at Epcot. Several people have CP and ADRs inside Epcot after the Merry Mixer. That leads me to believe it probably won't be a problem. If it looked like it was going to be a problem, you go could in Epcot and then go the Mixer with your handstamp, so unless it was a mega-no-one-is-getting-in-closures, you could get back in. I'm not worried about closures except at MK on Christmas Day but maybe I am in dreamland. :cloud9:

You can drag them or use it as an excuse to get a little break from everyone! :thumbsup2

Just a little over a month away! :santa:

I believe you are right and the Mixer is held outside of EPCOT. Also, I wouldn't think crowd levels would be an issue at that time of day.

We will be attending our first one!

Our first Christmas trip to WDW is only 26 days away!! We will be at EPCOT that day for dinner with a Candlelight Processional Package.
