Who is going to DCA Cars Land Opening Day?

We'll be staying at the DLH June 11-17th & will be parkhopping the whole week except the 14th (when we'll be at USH). We ended up planning our DL trip that week because of my work and I only later found out about CL. I guess I was living in a hole or something. I am sure it will be insane, but we have to at least check it out, right?! lol I will make sure to post pictures when we get back although I'm sure a ton of others will have some pics as well!

Our original vacation was in December but since we decided to get the Premium Passport we are taking a mini vacation in June - from June 14th - 19th it just so happens it is Carsland opening weekend. We know its going to be insane but figure it's a good way to kick off our first year as AP holders LOL. Those of you brave enough to be there with us , i commend you

Won't be there opening day, but I will be there attending the Media Day on the 14th. If it were not for Media Day, I wouldn't see Cars Land until my next trip to DL in August of 2013.

I don't mind crowds, my favorite time in the park is when its hot and crowded, but I think opening day is going to be even a tad bit crowded for me.

thats interesting...what schools will still be in session middle of June? I thought everyone would be out by then...we are going to wait a couple of days and go on the 17-19th..i know it will still be crazy busy but hopefully not as bad as day 1 and 2

Some, but many in the local areas will be out. Santa Ana Unified is out, Anaheim Unified is out and many other local districts in OC and the IE will be out as well. I think LAUSD is still on more of a "traditional" schedule and has another week.

Nope Im going at the end of August into September. Although this time of year could potentially be busy anyway, I am still trying to avoid mass opening day crowds.

We will be there the end of July, about a month after the opening. I am pretty sure it is still going to be crazy busy. We are also going in October so if it is to busy in July we get another chance in the fall!

We will be there the week of June 19-26. I think we are going to DL the 19 and the 25. I think it would be fun to start off our trip @ DL and end our trip w/ DL. I am scared of the crowds but, we will try to make the most of it! Hope my 5 year old can hang in there for a long day. We are staying off site so, we can't really go back and forth to our hotel in the middle of the day and rest.

We arrive on Monday, June 18 and I'm trying to decide what day that week would be best to try and visit Cars Land! I'm sure we may even try and do what we can upon arrival that day.

We will be there from June 13-20. Should be our craziest trip ever!
Our first full day DCA will be closed and our second full day will be spent in a giant crowd at Carsland. Hopefully DS6 and DD4 will handle the crowds well. DW is a little nervous about this whole trip.

I will be there for my first ever trip to Disneyland. I'm being sent out that way for work, so I'm taking a few extra days and staying for a quick Disneyland trip.

It is also my birthday month so I'll be celebrating that. I'm there June 14-18.

I'm super excited but know its going to be crazy busy. But I'll be able to say I was there.

I'm definitely waiting until next year to go with my boyfriend. Neither one of us can stand crazy crowds and Carsland will still be there when we go. However, I'll still be excited to read all of the updates and news about Carsland from opening day onward.

Going opening day and the next. Staying on-site that night. Couldn't get DVC for the night before.
