Who is going to be at the Coronado for free dining in September???

Be sure to check out the resorts thread and the one titled "Club Level coming to CSR". Just another reason CSR is our favorite mod.

It's true!!

Guys, there will now be club level at CSR. It's true!! I called about it. One more reason why I love this resort. Cast member said that the booking category is standard room with club level access. I asked if this standard room was in any "special" location and where the lounge would be. The CM checked (while I was on hold) and said that it cannot be booked until January 1 but that the groundwork is already set in motion. She says that the reason for the category is because the clients requested it and it is a convention center. Per CM, there will be the same offerings in the lounge as in the deluxe lounge. This resort is already head and shoulders above the other moderates with room service, spa and beautiful deluxe pool. I'm wondering if there is a push to change the status from moderate to deluxe, especially since they've changed FW cabins from deluxe to moderate. For now, I consider this the best kept resort secret. :thumbsup2

That was great news about the Club Level and queen beds buzz! Thanks for posting!!

Any one else going in September? I know I've seen several people post that they are staying at CSR...but can't remember if it was during free dining or not....

Have a great trip! We'll be there the day after tomorrow.

I hope you and your husband have an amazing Disney vacation, Coronado has missed their favorite guest.

Where will you be celebrating on your actual anniversary???

Safe travels and please do something relaxing and special, you have had a rough 2008.

Thank you, IshallcallhimSquishy. My DIS friends have been absolutely GREAT! Actually, our anniversary was on the day my dad was admitted to the hospital in May. We are going to have a special dinner at Fulton's at 7:30 on Saturday night--the first Disney restaurant my DH ever took me to. I'm also getting a massage while there and depending on the weather, DH and I will be doing a boat ride in Daytona to watch the dolphins. Other than that, we are just planning on enjoying the magic of Disney.

What's with the free dining? I see people stating that they are going to Disney with free dining - how do you get it??

Free dining is an offer that Disney has offered the last several years from late August to late September. It has been offered in the past as a bounceback for those who used it for the current year to book again for the next year. The offer is then made to the general public sometime early in April.

Thanks for the answer!

This was new to us in 2006 and we enjoyed the adventure so we kept our eyes open for the offer to come again.

If you were able book by June 20th of 2008 for a trip to be taken from August 21st - September 30th you are eligible for free disney dining. They have made this offer because they know the weather is uncomfortably sticky, and the weather is unpredictable....but its free dining and worth the bumps to experience so many restaurants we normally would not be able to afford to try.

Check out the free dining threads for more details :surfweb:

It is fun to plan some of your meals and read the dining reviews to try things you may have never tried before.
