We have always used Dizzy Dolphin or Garden Grocer. Who does everyone prefer and why? We typically order cases of water, breakfast items, snacks, and alcohol.
I'll have to look into this.We use Publix grocery delivery when we are there, I just order from their website.
Yeah we were super happy with Publix, I don't recall any crazy fees (not saying there weren't fees, just that they were normal to what I pay at home for our local grocery store delivery service: small fee+tip for driver). Just make sure to pick the Publix closest to your resort.I'll have to look into this.
We use Instacart, typically shopping at Publix. Garden Grocer got too expensive in our experiences. We used to use them, but haven't since Covid. Our typical items are breakfast foods, beer and maybe some alcohol, snacks for the pool (chips, pretzels, etc.), and even ingredients for a dinner or three (yes, we actually USE the kitchen that we're all paying for!). With Instacart, I can't tell you how many times we've just hit the "re-order" button on what we had gotten last time. The only hassle is having to be present for alcohol deliveries.
I really like Dizzy Dolphin. I like that they are a small business and their service has always been good. They are not the cheapest option but I also don’t feel gouged by them either. I was also delighted to use them to get Gideon’s for me once (from the non-DS location). I really wanted to try their cookies but I didn’t think I would have time to wait in the line.
Our order is similar: a small order of water, breakfast, and snacks.
No; when did the change take place?Did you know there are new owners? The original ones retired.
Does Publix just use Instacart, or do they have their own in-house delivery service? I always use Instacart for Publix but now am wondering if you’ve identified a cheaper option. We use Publix grocery delivery when we are there, I just order from their website.
Just checked the Publix website, they use Instacart, so there’s no difference between using Instacart or using the Publix website.Does Publix just use Instacart, or do they have their own in-house delivery service? I just don't want another app or thing to deal with, so I prefer to just use Publix website even though it may be powered through Instacart. Our local grocery store is the same. Doordash does the delivery part, but I just do everything through local grocery store, then THEY partner with Doordash to get it to me. Not sure how Instacart works, but Doordash at least never has every item I'm looking for on the app.Just checked the Publix website, they use Instacart, so there’s no difference between using Instacart or using the Publix website.
