Evening, everybody!
YM - more great pics, thanks!!!! Oh, I just can't wait for our trip!
Poor Michele! Yesterday wasn't a very good day for you, was it? Hopefully things will be better for you!
My DH isn't taking things too badly - the last time they saw each other, over 25 years ago, didn't go well. Apparently this guy was a mess. DH's younger brother in that state (not here) is taking care of some funeral arrangements so that he doesn't have to have an indigent funeral. My DH said the very same thing to me that I said earlier - he says "I don't know HOW to feel."
I heard a
horrible WDW story today at work! One of my co-workers was out there last week for a few days - it was her and her 6yo daughter's first trip. She said they really did have a good time, despite that it was only a four day trip. She does want to go back, and she didn't complain about anything! This woman is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, very kind, soft-spoken, and laid back. She said there was only one incident while they were there - her daughter and her sister's daughter went to get on Dumbo after standing in line - the girls had 2 Dumbos picked out right in line with one another, a blue one and a purple one. The girls were riding by themselves. She said her daughter went and got in her purple Dumbo, and some woman with a young child apparently went up to the Dumbo her daughter was in, and told her that she needed to get out of the Dumbo and find another one because HER 2 yo daughter wanted a purple Dumbo! So, my friend's daughter, simply following a grown-up's instructions, got out of her Dumbo and got into another one. Apparently after she got off the ride is when my friend and her sister found out what happened; I gather my friend's sister read the woman the riot act after it was all said and done. I couldn't believe it!! (well, I could - I've seen the rudest of the rudest at WDW) but to tell a 6 yo she had to get out of her Dumbo because her 2 yo wanted that color?!?! (like the 2 yo cares!). Sheesh!!! Fortunately it didn't spoil their trip, nor will it keep them from going back. Boy oh boy, you see it all there, don't ya?
