I am so sad....

My friend who went out to Arizona and went to the Fiesta Bowl has said she cannot find her camera!! She thinks she may have lost it!!

And she has been out in New Mexico/Arizona on vacation for 2 weeks!!

I feel so badly for her!! I hope she is able to find it!!

yeah, Kenny was sitting right beside it and was so excited! it was so cool! I think that was our favorite TS meal! thanks! I have a better pic. of the lions from one of our other trips. The female is taking her paw lightly to the males face like they were playing around it was just incredible!

Yeah, I am protective of my camera as well. In fact, I almost always have it with me somehow.....I keep it in the Tahoe and take it in the house at night.

Her's is a small point and shoot and she thinks she left it in her friend's car.

I hope she finds it.....she is VERY sad right now.

Donna Wowza, what a spread! You totally out did yourself this morning! If my tree looked that beautiful I may not have taken it down yet either! Alvin was very cute! I should say the parts I wasn't dozing through were. I had a little girl around 3 sitting next to me and she could not stop giggling through the whole movie. It was the cutest thing! Both my girls enjoyed it.


Amber, sorry about Mike's job. It sounds like it will be for the good though. I think you will be under less stress while he is looking for a job than when he was being taken advantage of on the job. Something will come along! I'll send you and Mike a little pixie dust to move it along a bit!


The speech therapist called and left a message last night. She never heard back from the Dr so she called the ins. and they are extending the referral until Tuesday. So Maddie will have her test on Monday! She woke up wheezing this morning so I have to hope it doesn't get worse before Monday.

Morning folks! Lyzzie is feeling much better today, especially because the tooth fairy left her $10.00! Apparently pulled teeth are worth a lot more than ones that fall out on their own. I'm going to TDS today to exchange her too-big shirt, and she gave me the $10 plus her Christmas money to get her a gift card for the trip. That's my girl! She admitted that although the novocaine shots hurt really bad, they helped a lot and the actual extractions felt like almost nothing. I just find that so hard to believe! She said it was worse when Grammy yanked out Lyzzie's loose tooth! She was just so scared, she had built it up in her head that it was going to feel awful and that's why she cried so hard.

Emma fell asleep in the car on the way home yesterday, and I almost got her into her bed but then she woke up and threw the biggest fit I've EVER seen! She was screaming and choking herself and thrashing her body about and slapping and kicking me for a full 20 minutes. Her little face broke out in a red puffy rash from all the yelling. I finally got her calmed down and let her sleep in my bed - the poor thing just isn't feeling better yet. My mom wanted to take her back to the dr. today, but I just had her there last weekend and she's still on the antibiotics, and there's not much more they can do anyway. I'd be afraid the insurance wouldn't cover a 2nd visit so soon for the same thing.

I hope the extractions help and her gap closes quicker than planned.

The teeth were baby teeth that were pulled because they were badly abscessed. They need to actually keep the gap open so the permanent teeth can come in, but that's still a couple years down the road. So she's just going to have this big hole on one side until she's 11 or 12! Good for you for standing up to your mom! Sometimes I think family members get so comfortable with each other that they just don't stop and listen to themselves and put themselves in the other person's shoes. I hope she remembers for more than a week!

Amber: I'm so sorry about Mike's job. I have to agree with the others though, that this is probably a blessing in disguise. I know the timing is horrible and it's got to be very scary. I hope he finds something quickly, even if it's just something in the meantime for some income while he looks for the "right" job. I'm sure something even better will come along, without all the ridiculous demands!

Ugh!! My &*@**$# DH..... I put ANOTHER spreadsheet together last night and all that work to show him we'd probably save money by not using DDP, and he decides that he wants it!! Well, at least we'll eat good!

Good thing you liked working on the spreadsheet! I personally think that if the margin of savings is that small, sometimes it's better to just get the DDP for the convenience - that alone can be worth a ton. I love how it gives you the "all-inclusive" feel. For our little family it doesn't make sense to get it, since we have AP's and eat so little, but when it's free dining we go hog wild! When we don't use DDP we eat CS only, so for us the DDP includes not only more food, but experiences that we otherwise wouldn't have. You just
can't put that kind of thing on a spreadsheet.

Lesa: That's GREAT news about Maddie! It's about flippin' time. You'll have to keep us posted on how it goes.


I think if Emma feels better this weekend I just may have to take them to see Alvin & the Chipmunks. Lyzzie runs around doing the "bow chicka bow-bowmmmm" with the hip swivel and everything and it cracks me up - she was doing it in Target the other day. She found this voice changer and recorded herself saying it, then sped it up to sound like a chipmunk. It was so funny!

Today is my last day off from work and my dogs actually let me sleep in until my alarm went off. Woo-hoo!!!

Pozey, I like it! Really! Chris and my dad have the same goatee and they look so much better with it, I just really like that kind of facial hair on men, it makes them look distinguished. And no worries about the sweatshirt! You should see the zip-up that I wear in public! Chris keeps trying to take it from me and hide it, but I love it! Comfort is alllllll that matters sometimes. I hope your friend finds her camera!!!

Did I tell you guys about our neighbor and their dog? I don't think I did. Sometime over the last couple of months the people that live behind us got a big dog. We have never seen this dog but it barks constantly, and it is so loud that it sounds like it is outside our bedroom window. I think they put it outside at night and just leave it out there because it has been waking us up between 3 and 4AM at least 3 times a week and it will bark for a solid hour. We finally called the police and filed a distrubance complaint on Wednesday night. I think they went out there because last night it only barked for 10 minutes, but it was at 4:30AM again! They are driving me crazy, and I'm afraid to say anything to them personally because I don't want to have to worry about repercussions with out little dogs. I don't mind dogs barking during the day so much, but at night! Just another reason I want to move...although this can happen anywhere!

heeeere's your sign dude! We have about 10 of us in here consistantly with only 4 lines. So, just any of us answer the phone. My boss has these investment guys calling him CONSTANTLY they want him to invest $ w/them and they call so much, we have told them over and over not to call and blah blah... they don't stop, so now if we know it's them, we just hang up on them It is hilarious b/c we know immediately if someone really knows him or not b/c how his last name is pronounced. It is really strange. When I ask what the call is regarding, this one guy just replies "oh, he knows me" oh please! You can't even say his name correctly! I think next time I'll just hold the phone out and say "oh, he knows me" wants to talk to you, should I hang up on him AGAIN? they called like 3 times right in a row yesterday, I guess hoping someone else would answer but my coworker just kept hanging up on them. It can actually be amusing sometimes. If you were getting hung up on for months...would you REALLY continue to call GIVE UP ALREADY!
