I'm not sure what my mom and I are going to do when this trip is over. We have been living, eating, breathing this trip for a while now. Plan the next trip, you say?? hmmm, idea.

Of course, plan for the next trip!!! I have only been home 15 days and look what I'm doing. (Before I stated WL in '07, I meant '08!!? )

Donna--something to look forward to for '08. I did my first solo trip last Feb. and loved it, so maybe I will just "take off" sometime next year and go solo again. Who knows.

Hello everyone!

Hope you had a good nights rest! Nope, I didn't get whamed in the head last night again, thank God!!

YM: No, I've never read the Stephanie Plum books. I just read what you guys say about them. Everytime I go to a book store (like yesterday) I forget to look for them.

Donna: Donuts...hmmmm..yummy! The balloon release sounds like so much fun. It is such a cute idea!

Nicole: That is so sad If we went on a trip together, me & you could wear matching shirts! That would be so fun!


I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. I have to go grocery shopping and to Petsmart. I think thats all I have planned! We were going to go to the pool like usual, but my ear has been feeling funny and I think its because I've been going to the pool so much. So there goes my tan!!

All I have to say is Pirates was great!! I had heard mixed reviews from friends but the middle movie in a triology of movies is never the favorite (ex:Two Towers LOTR triology). I just love JD and I was laughing a lot. I love how they brought back the Commodore and a certain monkey! Can't wait for #3!

Ashley----Love the design, I got some designs customized for us on our last trip and I even made one of my own (I'll post it later). I ended up making a lot for the boys and none for me & dh, but I want to do some for MVMCP!

April---Congrats on the weight loss

Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm a Mississippi State University fan ! We are friendly down here, well, unless you are another SEC team, then things may not be so friendly . Just kidding!

We live smack dab in the middle of Big Orange Country here (UT Vols) so bring it on!! Of course I'm kidding but these SEC rivalries are serious, you should see everyone when Florida comes to town (inflatable gators up flag poles etc!)

I've been so tired today, Connor and I had a "sleep over" and sleep I did not! He was all over the bed, pulling covers flapping his arm into my face, ugh! Next time we'll sleep in the King size and dh can have a camp out in the guest room.

We've got small groups tonight for church (we are meeting at another couples house) so we've got our same babysitter coming tonight that came last night. She is 16 and did crafts with the kids (helped them decorate a box to look like a treasure box) and then did treasure hunts with them!! She's trying to save for a car so she's wanting to babysit as much as possible... Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hey chicas & man (or is it men by now?)! I don't think I have ever worked as hard as I have this weekend!! We got sooo much done in the house. I took a ton of pictures of the work in progress, but like a dope I left the camera at the house.

Crud, I just lost my big long post. Darn wireless!! I think at the new house I will ditch the wireless, even if I have to have a big ugly cord running thru the house. On second thought... maybe not. Anyway, I'm nodding off here, so I'd better attend to the laundry & dinner while I'm still semi-conscious. (insert waving smiley here, since my smileys seems to have gone on strike.)

boy you cliqueless sure are chatty (he kind of looks like he could be talking.) It took me an hor to catch up. I dont think I can ever go so long without being here.

I wish I could get DH to wear a shirt just for fun, I dont even think he'd wear it to bed.

So I have great news! My friends boyfriend broke up with her. I not heartless really, he was just all wrong for her. She started seeing that too this past week. She works fulltime as a lawyers asst and is in law school so she is very busy, the boyfriend (who is a nice person) has no real goals or ambition other than what bar to hit on thursday night. He told her that he ws breaking up with her bc she cant go out (meaning to bars during the week since she has school and work). I consoled her but then told her I was happy for her and before she knows it I'll be happy with her (meaning she will also be happy that it is over)

Also this morning I got to have a pet for a few hours. I went out to go to walmart early in the morning and out of the bushes came this little cat. Now I had a cat growing up and still miss it terribly but DH and I have decided that we really don't have time for pets. So I got down to say hi to the cat and it practically jumped into my lap. It had tags, his name a gizmo, and I called the owner and left a message on there machine. Now I couldnt just leave the poor thing out there, not being so close to a lake it could wind up as gator food, plus I really just wanted to play with it for a little it was sooo friendly. So I brought it up to my apt and DH agreed that we should let it hang out until we got a hold of its mom or dad (owner) bc thats what we would want someone to do for us. We gave it a dish with some water and some tuna. Boy was it hungry and thirsty. We played with him for like 3 hours before his mom called and we met her to give Gizmo back. It made me really want to go get a cat but I know our schedules just don't alow us to give a pet the attention that it deserves.

So besides watching the Red Sox FAIL MISERABLY (instead of a computer its a tv) that was my weekend

Hi!!! How was everyone's Sunday? Just got home from my mother's house. We watched the balloons go up and enjoyed dinner. I made brownies for dessert and Mom made Carrot Cake!! YUMYUM. There is some left over...here have a piece of each!!

You all may have to save some for breakfast. I have to make sure to have DS up and out of here in time to catch the bus!!!

Mommyintn::Glad you enjoyed your "date". Please send your babysiter this way. It seems like around here anyone passed the age of 13 doesn't want to do that kind of thing anymore. I really wouldn't feel comfortable leaving a child with anyone too young.

I know exactly what you mean!!! I used to joke how long it took me to read the posts and catch up. May I suggest a speed-reading course!!!
Good news about you friend!! My best friend since we were HS freshmen,
started seeng a guy after her divorce. All this guy did was party and never finished high school. She was 28 and he was 21. Long story short, they ended up have 2 great sons together, but have NEVER gotten along and are constantly separated. Trust me, your friend is better off!!!
Sounds like that kitten knew just where to go to get taken care of.What a caring thing to do!!

I had a long reply ready to send last night and then it disappeared. I took it as a sign and went to bed. Now, I can't remember what I said.

Ashley, I like all the shirt designs, but I like the castle ones the best. I think the one with Donald and Daisy is sweet. Mike won't wear matching shirts. He will wear coordinating (him: Mickey me: Minnie), but that's as far as he goes.

April, congrats on the weight loss!!!

lyzziesmom, I can't wait to see the pictures. I am sure the house is looking great!

Linda, how did the wedding go? I am sure Kenny did great.

I am so tired this morning. I spent the weekend cleaning/decluttering. Then, last night Leary cut open the padding on his paw. We have no idea how he did it (he hurts himself more than anything I have ever seen).

It is pouring here and my umbrella is in the car and my car is in the furthest parking spot now what kind of motivation is that to go to work on a monday morning.

Thanks for the welcome!! It's kinda nice to have a place to belong. I usually just flutter from place to place in between doing house work. I use the Dis as a reward to myself to get things done around the house.
