I had an interview Wednesday. I think it went well. They told me that they would probably bring me back in for a 2nd interview next week. When discussing other interests, I mentioned being a Disney fanatic. The owner said he and his family were too. He even owns DVC. :cool1:

Good luck with the interview!!! That's cool that the owner is a Disney fanatic!:cool1:

Nicole: I saw that you made it into the yearbook! I think I'm in there but it was a while ago, sometime last year.

I just saw that. I like my picture!

For those of you that have stayed at POP, did you stay in the 80's or 90's? Last year, we had a preferred room in the 60's, so everything was close. This time we have standard room and I just know we are going to be put in one of those sections. I don't remember anything being that far away, but I wanted a second opinion.

Last Sept. I stayed in the 90's section and we just walked thru the parking lot to get to the bus stop. It wasn't too far. That's what I'm worried about with CSR. I can't decide on a section to stay in and I'm going to be booking it really soon!

Last night we saw 300 on a Imax screen. It was good but gory.

Hi everyone! Good Morning!

Amber, I've heard Pop is very big. From my understanding the 80's and 90's buildings are a pretty far treck to the main building. Lyzziesmom can elaborate on this though because she has stayed there for a longer period than I did. I only stayed for 1 night in the 60's building. I'm sure you'll have a fun time regardless :) I can't believe your trip is so close, I'm so excited for you. I think that is where Jeremiah & I are going to stay when we go in Sept. ETA, I just saw Nicole's reply to you! I didnt think about the shortcuts you could take ;)

It looks so beautiful outside right now!! The bird chirping is going on in full force :) Hopefully it will be nice enough to take Ruby on a nice long walk this weekend so she can work off those extra pounds;)

Good morning!

I'm packing for my trip to see Little Miss Lilly!:cool1: In between that I have to pick up around the house, go shopping (I didn't get Lilly's book yet), and the contractor is coming today:dance3: I'd better get going!

Have a great day everyone!

Aaack, just lost my post!! Amber, I've stayed at POP twice, first in the 60s and then in the 80s. They were both very nice but the 80s was a further walk. However, the shortcut through the parking lot was a lifesaver in the evenings. In the mornings it was nice to have a leisurely stroll on the shaded paths. The good thing is that the buses come to the front of the main building but they are sort of off to one side, well that side is nearer to the 80s section so it's not too far off. I just wish I had known about luggage service to take your bags down on your last day, it felt like a long trek lugging all our bags after being in the World for 10 days!!

Ashley: Don't you just love those mornings when the birdies are out in full force? I think I'm up to 5 bird feeders now, and they swarm around my house, I just love sitting and watching them. We've got a cute little finch couple that always come and eat outside my kitchen window and they always come together, eat together, and leave together. How sweet! I'll have to try to get their picture. We've also got at least one chipmunk that lives under our back porch step. It's a concrete step, but there's a big crack between the step & the house and I found a few little droppings over in the corner, and I keep seeing the little bugger running to & from the house. As long as he's not getting IN the house, I think it's adorable! Emma calls it "chipdale" instead of chipmunk -- too cute!

Lyzziesmom- That chipmunk is cute! I'm sad that we don't have them down here. I've never seen one before, all we have are squirrels.

Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping they'll put us in the 70's right by the parking lot and food court, but I'm doubting it will happen. I really liked being in the 60's, but they didn't have any preferred rooms available under the deal I booked.

Wow there's 17 of us!

Lyzziesmom, You mentioning little animals outside reminded me of the squirrel that used to come on our porch and hide its food. I had such fun watching it, I had a big tuperware filled with some junk so it would hide stuff in there. Well it started storing its food in there and I would also feed it peanuts everyday.

One day I was in the living room and I heard this SCREECHING outside. I looked and saw my "mama squirrel" holding a TEENY, tiny baby in its mouth and she dropped him on our porch and left! The poor thing was frantic. Well here are a couple pictures I took of him,(I guess it could be a her;) ) while it was waiting for its mama.

Ruby looking at the squirrel, ignore my foot ;) (I don't know why its so small :confused3 )

I just love watching the squirrels, they are so funny! Ashley, I hope that baby's mama came back for him!! The other day I threw three apples outside because they were starting to look a little off. Suddenly I looked outside and saw an apple hopping across the lawn! A squirrel was carrying it off, but couldn't figure out how to get it up in the tree because it had to use both hands to carry it .. it was really funny watching him try to work it out. And then another squirrel chased him off, stole the apple, and had the same problem!

I really need to get a hobby.

Nicole, how long are you planning on going for? If free dining gets released, remember you can always add it to your reservation! Are you getting the dining plan regardess?
