Hi everyone!!

The pork chops actually turned out really good!! I read on a website that you should brown them in a skillet first and then put the skillet in the oven & bake them. They turned out juicy and very flavorful! The marinade was really good, sort of a hawaiian/teriyaki taste. I made fettuchini alfredo with it!

My mom FINALLY uploaded the last of the photos from our meet-here are two of them.

I'm actually not feeling too good right now! Tonight I noticed the right lower part of my back is really swollen. It hurts and it seems like I am laying weird, like I can't lay totally straight. I have a heating pad on it now, maybe I over-did it at the gym yesterday.

Ouch...sounds like it could be a muscle spasm? Hopefully the heat will loosen it up.

Thanks YM, The heat is helping and I took a darvocet so it is feeling better!! I've never had a swollen back before, much less just one half!

Good morning everyone!

Lyzziesmom-- We're actually getting in late on the 9th. We are staying at Portofino Bay at Universal on the 9th & 10th because that is where this training session for my husband is taking place. I'm thinking that we may not be able to meet. We move over to the Poly on the 11th. That's ok. Hopefully we'll meet on the next cliqueless convention!

Looks like some of you are going to get the warm weather we've been having today! I enjoyed it! It's supposed to start raining here tomorrow and then snow on Friday. We need the moisture and I'll be in West Virginia, so that's ok.

Wow, it just hit me that I only have 3 more days of working at my job.
Boy is it going to feel weird not working. I've worked since I was 16 (a long, long, long time ago ) and this is going to be different. We'll see how long I last once we get settled in WV. I told my husband that if I start calling him 20 times a day, he needs to be honest with me and tell me to get a job!

I watched AI!! I love Blake and Melinda! I thought they did great. And although I am no fan of Phil's, I thought he did pretty good last night, despite the judge's remarks. Usually I just fast forward right through him, but last night I actually watched him. I also thought that Jordin did well.

hope your back is feeling better. Those pork chops sounds tasty!! I use to put them in a oven bag...but I don't cook much anymore Mike has it all done by the time I get home I do love him being retired!

Well, they showed her a few times and she was always crying, so I don't think her tears were strictly for Sanjaya. I think she was just overwhelmed about being there, so close to the idols. Kinda like me, when I go to WDW and everything around me is so perfect!

oh most definitely. everytime they put the camera on her she was crying...poor girl. I'd be so embarassed!!


our boss just handed out "self appraisal" forms... I think its a total waste b/c it's not like they ever give us raises or anything but if they actually read this... I laid it all out. I'm not sure I should have, at least yet...but I laid it all out. Everything I've done this past year, what I eventually want to do... as in cutting down to a few days a week. I didn't put that its b/c I want to go to school...but I really want to cut down and work a few days a week while going to school... I don't know how much of it they'll read or pay attention to... I'm not sure its the right time...but I'm rolling the dice and getting it out there... I'm nervous!! I'm relieved to get it off my chest...but not sure I should...yet. Wish me luck!!! I wish this was a few more months down the road... but.... oh well.
