Michele: Great pictures! She is just such a little cutie-pie. I love pictures of sleeping babies! I almost had to take a picture of Emma this morning - she was sleeping on her back with her arms above her head and her feet all stretched out, no covers on, and nightie bunched up around her armpits so her whole belly was showing. It looked like she was dreaming of flying like a superhero -- too funny! But then the good mom in me took over and I covered her up instead of running for the camera. I like that last picture of Lilly, she just looks so alert and interested!
I was running late to work this morning because I had to "lay down the law" to my mother about what she is and is not allowed to touch at my house today! I feel bad about it, because I don't ask her to come over and do my housework, but she truly wants to. Anyway, since I was already a few minutes late I figured I'd stop at the QuikTrip on the way and pick up some donuts for my department to atone for my lateness. I am NEVER late in the mornings (after lunch is a different story though!) and I felt really bad about it. The funny part is, our new HR guy who is not officially my supervisor but sort of is (???), said he doesn't care if I'm late or not! His words, "I don't see the place exactly falling apart just yet, do you?" So all that worrying and rushing for nothing! Now I'm stuffed full of sugary donuts and have all this energy, and nowhere for it to go. Oh well, at least it's better than yesterday when I fell asleep at my desk! Ooops.
