Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 4

Nicole, I wish we were! We are only there from tuesday-Thursday. We have the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner bus tour on Tuesday, the wedding on Wednesday and we leave Thursday evening, hopefully we will get some shopping or something in on Thursday. I've never been to Vegas before. Steph did decide that instead of a rehearsal dinner they would book a private tour bus for the wedding party and we will have drinks and cake on the bus while we drive around Vegas and see the sights. Plus, my mom and aunt Nancy are helping her with the flowers and its my aunts 50th birthday so they have planned a stop at a tatoo parlor to get Nancy a tatoo for her birthday....and Steph wants one too. I'm not one for tatoos but the peer pressure might get me this time...

Hello everyone,

DznyFan, I know you've already left but I hope you have a wonderful Disney trip!!!! I am so jealous. I can't wait until my September trip!!

My root canal went ok yesterday. I wasn't really happy with how I was treated but I'm trying to not dwell on that. (I am though )I was alittle bit late (15 mins) and I think the dentist was pissed off by that. I was in bathroom and it couldn't really be prevented

Anyway, he would not give me the nitrous which I wanted, and didn't believe me when I said I was experiencing some pain. When I told him it was painful he kept saying "Is it painful or is it tight?" (from the clamp that was on the tooth) over and over again, even though I was answering that it was painful. I was in tears from it because he was making me feel like I was stupid, and like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then apparently I kept moving my head (I didn't notice that I was) and he kept saying, "This is a very important part, you have to stay very still" And all I kept thinking was, "Oh yes, I want to make you screw up, I want you to botch something intentionally that I am paying $1,000 for" . I'm just alittle sick of some doctors snobby attitude, when all it comes down to is, I'm a paying customer and I don't know why he acts like he is the boss. I think I am alittle cranky right now. Honestly I was surprised by his behavior because all other appointments he was very nice and professional, and he was voted the best endodontist in Northern Virginia. That was by his peers though, not by patients, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm just glad its over. Now I'll see if I need any other work done. I'm waiting to see because I am sore from the procedure itself.


SOooooooo.....on to happier things. VENT OVER!!!



My plans for this weekend: I'm not really sure yet, I don't think we are planning anything big. I'm pretty excited because June 14/15th my Grandma and my Great-Aunt are stopping by for a night or 2. They are going to be in West Virginia and are coming by on a different route on their way home. Jeremiah is taking that Friday off and we should do something fun!!


I'm with you, Nicole- we ALWAYS go to the mall on the weekend and look around. And we usually end up at Target 2 or 3 times

Ashley: I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience at the endodontist. I don't understand why some professionals act like that, don't they want your business and referrals? Maybe he was just having a bad day. As long as the procedure itself comes out ok, that's what really matters.

I hope your weekend is better and that your tooth finally stops hurting!

Originally the design looked like it was an orangish outline. Then when we got home and I put some different sheets on the bed, with those it looks more brown!

Ashley- That dentist was terrible. You are a paying customer and deserve to be treated better then that. I hate how you have to be on time to appts but dr's... oh no, they waltz in late or make you wait, and you're NOT allowed to do it to them. Our time is precious too.

Ashley, isnt that a rhodedendreon? sorry...probably spelled wrong I call them "rhodies"... that is what it looks like to me. Is it a big plant/bush type thing? I have those at the rental w/some azaleas and hostas and bleeding hearts.... I love the azaleas! Sorry about the dentist
