Well, I may as well start saving now just to buy Colton and Chase a yearbook when they get to High School!! :scared1:

You know it's funny.........the 1st page I turned to when I opened it up......the very first page of that enormous yearbook..........I see someone I know..... The very first page I turned to was a page that had cheerleaders on it. And one of the girls on the cheerleading squad works as a counciler at the Boys & Girls Club where Colton and Chase go every day. :rotfl2:
In that big ol' book?? 2,000 kids, and you open it to someone you know! :rotfl:

Ashley, I have been to both Luray and the aquarium. I prefer the aquarium. Luray is neat, but there is a lot more to do in Baltimore (plus, all my family is from there, so I am partial).

The aquarium has an Australian exhibit. We want to go see it, but haven't made it up there yet. My brother says it's awesome.

That's nice that Jeremiah can see that someone appreciates him (even if his boss hasn't mentioned anything).

Hey guys! I've only read the last couple of pages so I know I've missed tons! I miss chatting with you guys!

Dznyfan, I don't know what to tell Erin about TDS...its wierd that they haven't contacted her. She applied at the Tulsa store, right? I know the store manager at Quail Springs in OK City but the manager I knew in Tulsa left. We set up interviews when you drop off your application, and going into the summer they should be too.... I would follow-up again on Wednesday. Glad her knee is all better!!!! Shes ready for Walt Disney World!

2x, I like the apparrel description, very Plum of you! I always laugh when people tell you things like, "In the Tool Corral", why would we be asking if it was obvious?

Pozey, glad you had a great weekend with the kiddos!!!

Nicole, have fun at your party!

Ashley, good for Jeremiah!

Night guys!

Lyzziesmom, I just got the photopass pictures!!! I loved seeing them..thanks for sharing!! It looks like you guys had a great time.

:rotfl: Hello All, I’m on a wine kick: Enjoy!!!!

Good Morning Glories----
Underdog----awww, that is the sweetest thing!!!!!!! Someone you know, or curtosy (does that look right spelling wise??:confused3--doesn't to me for some reason) of the ol' web??

Ok are you going to need wine for your little party? :cool1: TMI alert: a couple years ago, I actually got an invention to one. The girls in the office were just having fun and wanted to see me get all embarrassed. But I had fun with them and told them I would go!!! (but no way did I go, I wonder what they would have done if I showed up?).:scared1:

Good morning, everyone!!! I hope you all had a great Monday!!! How about starting off our Tuesday with some Mickey pancakes/waffles? ::MickeyMo

I know this was all yesterday's news, but I'll try to catch up anyway.

Amber:: I'm afraid Mike's co-worker may be in big trouble this time, huh? Sorry about his problems, but he had been previously warned and chose to ignore those warnings. I hope he doesn't have a family depending on him for support.

Nicole:: :woohoo: You get to go to a party!! Maybe you should set a spending limit??:jester:
OK....now I know what a Mojito is!!!!

2x2s:: Doesn't everyone know the hammers at Home Depot are in the Tool Corral and where the Tool Corral is located??? I kind of know my way around Lowes, but not Home Depot.:sad2:
Oh my goodness!! I'm trying to get a visual on the pastries at the "French & Vietnamese Bakery"!!!  :scared:

Underdog:: Thanks for the selection of wines!! The strawberries were delicious, too!!!:thumbsup2

Well....gotta run!!! Hi to pozey, YourMajesty, lyzziesmom, Ashley, Lin, DznyFan, Angela, Sherri and April!!(Hope you guys are OK.)

$65.00 for that yearbook - and that was ordering it early!

Yikes! I remember my mom freaking out because my senior yearbook was around $30 ... then again, that was a few years ago.

Lyzziesmom, I just got the photopass pictures!!! I loved seeing them..thanks for sharing!! It looks like you guys had a great time.

I don't know what the problem was... Photopass took forever to deliver them! I know some of you still haven't received them, because I only got I think 4 confirmations so far. I'll resend the ones that haven't gone through yet at some point... the whole HR department is here today so I don't have as much "free" time as usual. Well actually I do, I just need to LOOK like I don't. I'm glad you liked the pictures! We did have a great time... I like to ask the photographers to do a little something different so we don't have hundreds of the same picture with different backgrounds. I keep forgetting to ask them to take one with my own camera too! I think I only remembered 2 or 3 times... which is better than usual. Especially when it's just me and the kid(s), that way I can actually be IN some of my pictures!

UnderDog: Thanks for the wine snack, I had it for breakfast. *hiccup!* I was going to ask if I share a birthday with anyone (10/8) but then I remembered... I share it with Ashley and Ruby! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

My mom came home late last night, my brother was finally released from the hospital yesterday afternoon and couldn't wait to get home. So I got to see my little Emma bo-bemma this morning!! Sssshhh, don't tell my mom, but I woke her up. I just couldn't wait to hold her!! It was so hard to leave her to come to work this morning. As I was walking out the door, Emma ran and stood in the doorway, put one hand on her hip and pointed at me with the other one and said, "Don't forget to watch out for people and cars!" Or maybe it was people IN cars. Either way, it was really cute!! :cutie: She of course was just as happy to see the dog as she was to see me, but that's ok. She reminds me so much of myself as a kid... the animals always come first. Emma is so excited about her birthday. The next town over has their annual carnival the weekend of her bday every year, and this year her bday happens to fall ON the parade day... I told her we will go to a parade on her bday and she thinks it's a parade for her!

Donna: those Mickey pancakes look scrumptious! The receptionist at my podiatrist's office saw my Mickey purse and necklace, and asked me if I had the toaster. Apparently her friend has one that plays "It's a Small World" while it's toasting?? That might be a little much, even for me.

You guys talking about the Vietnamese/French bakery had me cracking up! There's this (I think) new show about the world's most ... shall we say... interesting foods. This guy travels around eating stuff in other countries that I wouldn't think would even classify as food. Last night I tried to watch, but I had to turn it off when he ate (skip this part, 2x!) LIVE OCTOPUS! They cut it up in front of him at the fish market, dumped it on a plate, and he ate the pieces, still wiggling. He said the suckers were trying to hang on to the inside of his cheeks!

On that note... I hope everyone has a great day!

PS: 2x, I'm pretty sure that life-sized Jack statue was somewhere around $1500. pirate:

Lin - I think it's weird, too, especially since they got really excited when they met her - the one manager introduced her to the other manager, they talked a little "Disney". She called back a few days later, and mgr #2 said the other mgr had been out all week and he hadn't had a chance to set anything up, and they'd be setting up interviews next week - she hasn't heard back yet, but I think she needs to call. Now, she was honest with them when she went in and told them she was going to be out of town from June 1 to the 11th, so maybe they're waiting to really do anything until she returns. :confused3 We'll wait and see.
I would also give them a call. I would call and say something like "I filled out an application a week or so ago, and just wanted to follow up."

Could be that the manager was out and did not have everything lined up.

Well, this past weekend, we met up with some old friends we had not seen in quite some time. So, of course I broke out the camera. And since I hadn't posted any pictures in awhile.......

Here is my beautiful family:

Thanks Donna...you can't go wrong starting the day off with Mickey!

DnzyFan...I guess I owe you an apology. It was probably Pozey that gave me the crud...I actually talked to him on the phone.:rotfl2: Hope you settle in with diving skills...good idea to take it slow.

Pozey...loved your pictures...you do have a beautiful family!

Pozey...I dug up some quotes for you....the first is from A League of Their Own

Jimmy Dugan: Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There's no crying! THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!

These are from Bull Durham...I guess the boys might be a little young for that one.:rolleyes1

A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skip: You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!
Larry: Lollygaggers!
Skip: Lollygaggers. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey 2xcited...I've personally never heard of a tool corral...maybe the Golden Corral?:rotfl: Very confusing.:rolleyes1

Oh sure blame it on me........Wait it probably was my fault......I talked on HisMajesty's phone......he came home........and passed it right on to you......wait.......does that make it HisMajesty's fault?!?!

Pozey...loved your pictures...you do have a beautiful family!
Thank you. I probably will keep them at least a little while longer....

One of the mothers of one of my baseball players has a daughter that is a year or so older than Chase. She keeps telling me that Madison (her daughter) has a HUGE crush on Chase. And the mother told me one time that she thought Chase was just a gorgeous boy. Chase has eyelashes that are about a foot long.

GREAT Quotes!!! In fact.......and this is the absolute truth......the very first day of practice that I had with my team, I told them "You throw the ball, you catch the ball." :thumbsup2 (thumb) Although not all of them have completely grasped that concept.

And speaking of no crying.........Chase was playing 1st base last night at our game. Ground ball to the 3rd baseman......he catches it and throws it to Chase.......but it is a little off line, and Chase has to go up the baseline to get it.........COLLISION!!! And the other kid outweighed Chase by at least 50 pounds!! He just CRUSHES Chase. But Chase held on to the ball and got the runner out. Chase was laying on the ground and everyone runs over to check on him. He kinda sorta wanted to cry. But he toughed it out and jumped right up and said he was okay. :thumbsup2 (another thumb)

Hey.......I think I've been to both......

I think I'd prefer the Golden Corral to the tool corral. I'm kinda lost when it comes to tools.

I got the brilliant idea to take the kids to Omaha for the weekend since it's only a 3 hour drive and the zoo is supposed to be one of the best in the country. I've spent the last 2 hours checking out websites looking for a cheap hotel, and every time I think I find one, it either turns out to be sold out or I find a bad review of it, or something. I don't know how to plan a trip to somewhere I've never been! In the past, I've either just gone with NO planning and walked into hotels (NOT the most economical way to do things!) or gone someplace I've been before. Orlando trips I can book in a heartbeat - Omaha... not so easy! I need to just pick one and stick with it I guess. Any of you guys been to Omaha?? Any ideas? I'm thinking I'll probably just scrap the whole idea, I'm stressing myself out too much over it and I really should save the money anyway, especially with gas prices the way they are right now. Ouch!

Have you checked www.hotels.com? I looked and found a few hotels that looked pretty reasonable. There was a Howard Johnson's that was rated 3 stars for $69 a night. it was about 5 miles from the zoo.
