Hey Cliquers......

Guess who I met tonight??

Mister YourMajesty himself.......HisMajesty!!!!! :jester:

What a super nice guy!!!
:yay: that is so cool!!! you posted a pix of the whole gang from a few years ago ;)

Ok cliqueless pals....I got the strangest phone call tonight. So here's the story. My DH (or HisMajesty if you please;) ) took my DS to the indoor batting cages tonight. I have a special ring set for his cell phone (Aloha...someday I will get that Hawaii trip:thumbsup2 ). I pick up and some strange man is on the line addressing me as "Queenie" and "YourMajesty"....I'm about to bust. It's none other than the famous MR POZEY! My DH and his amazing ability to recognize people (with the help of someone wearing a Disney shirt:rolleyes1 ). Anyway let me say that 'our' Pozey is every bit as kind and fun as he is right here on our thread!!!:woohoo:

That was my BIG excitement for the night! :woohoo: :woohoo:
I wish I could have seen the look on your face:rolleyes1 that is too cool!!! I can't believe your dh recognized him!!!

Did anyone else read that (maybe) in 2008, Disney won't include the tip on the DDP?

:scared1: WTH!!! I guess that's just more incentive to stay at SOG:snooty: ;)

good morning, almost afternoon everyone!!!

I'm here, just trying to get back into the swing of things since returning from my little weekend.

I just looked at the time----must run for work.

Everyone have a good day!!!!

hi Linda, Lin, Nicole, YM, Michele, Underdog, DznyFan and the rest of the Crew!!!
Hey there pin-cess! :flower3:

Donna, thanks for a wonderful breakfast. I can't see it, but I'm sure its good:laughing: Nathans program sounded very cute:cloud9:

Hope you're all having a great day!

:woohoo:

Thanks for asking. He is doing good. He is out of the hospital, but still has bandages. The has to wear a soft cast on his arm and has started physical therapy on it. He is in a much better mindset now, but they still haven't found the car or the attacker. :guilty:
:grouphug: Amber, I hope he continues to have a good recovery and they find the guy that did it!!

Hi everyone, I'm back! We had a great time, and I can't believe it's over already. There were a few things we didn't get to do, but it was so nice knowing we will be back in September and have the chance to do everything. (As if you can ever do "everything" in WDW!" Somehow I got my planning screwed up and we were not able to see Spectro. I'll have to plan better for next time!

I don't think we will ever fly Midwest again. 2 out of our 3 flights were delayed over two hours - we didn't get in until after 12:30am this morning, which means I didn't get home until after 2am. I am so tired today. I ended up taking 1/2 day off of work this morning, there was just no way I could come in on 3 hours sleep. But we had a blast, I took a TON of pictures - filled up a 1G memory card and then some! Will download later or tomorrow - and rode nearly everything. The new Nemo musical was amazing... we did have some excitement during the show. An elderly woman was being escorted out of the theater (parts of the show take place in the aisles so they request that anyone who needs to leave be escorted out) and she collapsed on the steps right next to us. It was very scary, Lyzzie thought she was going to die - and so did I for a few minutes there. Turns out she was just dehydrated which led to her becoming weak and disoriented, and she was fine by the end of the show.

The weather was nice - cool in the mornings & evenings and hot but not TOO hot in the afternoons. We did get some rain but it didn't slow us down, thanks to cheap Target ponchos! We laughed at the people running from the buses to the MK entrance... you know how it's such a long walk? Well it was in the middle of a pretty good downpour and lots of people were running and we wondered if they really thought that was going to keep them dryer?

It was much more crowded than we are used to, but the lines really weren't bad at all. Lyzzie decided she LOVES Space Mountain and I think we rode 7 times. Not to be outdone, we rode Everest 8 times! Three of those times were after dark all in a row during AK evening EMH and it was extremely cool. We liked ASMu but I think we might try to switch to POP for our September trip. It was a LONG walk back to the room (in the Rock building) and I wasn't too impressed with the food court selections. I really missed POFQ, especially at the end of the day when walking back to the buses!

It looks like everyone had a good time last week. I was so surprised to get a text message from Ashley, that was so sweet! Very cool that pozey and HisMajesty bumped into each other.

Lyzzie has a sleepover party for her best friend's birthday tonight at the Great Wolf Lodge - I don't know how the poor girl is going to make it. She was so tired last night, I almost couldn't get her off the plane! She slept at my mom's house last night so she wouldn't have to wake up in the morning, and Emma stayed there too. I will be so happy to finally have Emma back tonight!! I really missed her a lot, and we saw so many cute little girls at WDW that reminded me of her. But we also saw a ton of crabby, overtired toddlers who reminded me why we left Emma home this time.

We sent a postcard to my parents from Epcot of Lyzzie and I in front of a space background - my mom said Emma saw it and yelled, "Lyzzie and Mommy are on vacation... in OUTER SPACE??!!?" So apparently Emma thinks we went to outer space for our vacation - too funny! I guess Lyzzie's light-up Mickey ears didn't give away our real location.

What are everyone's plans for Mother's Day? I don't think we have anything planned - if we do, it's news to me. I would really like to just be able to sleep all day but I don't see that happening. I have a ton of housework to catch up on! I came home to a malfunctioning sump pump and a flooded basement. Yick.

Next week Emma is going with my mom to take my brother to the Mayo Clinic for his knee replacement. It's almost like I only have one child for 1/2 of this month - how weird!

Welcome back Lyzziesmom! It sounds like you had a great time and I can't wait to see all the pics! I'm sorry your flight was delayed, I know that feeling.

Hello Cliquers,

Here's my version of meeting Mr. "pozey" ..... I'm standing there at the batting cages and see one of the other dad's watching the kids bat. As soon as I saw him, my mind is spinning so fast I could hardly contain myself....I'm thinking to myself, "that's got to be pozey" ( I'm about to go up to someone who has no idea who I am and ask him his name and then tell him "my wife is a cliqueless cliquer"....who she just happened to meet "on the computer" no less. And then to top it off, I'm going to have to tell him that I saw his picture posted on a DIS thread.....) But as soon as he told me his name, I wanted to try to make him guess who I was but also couldn't wait to tell him. I said "you can't guess who I am" ( which ,of course, he didn't) but before I could even try to let it go any longer without telling, I blurted out " I'm married to YM!!".

It was so much fun meeting him and visiting for the short amount of time.....Thanks pozey

I have lurked on the cliqueless thread enough to have read many of the posts but let me tell you.....your pozey is even nicer in person than on the thread!!!

HisMajesty??

Hi, everyone!!!

Goodness am I ever glad it's Friday. We had an equipent breakdown today and I have to go in to work in the morning, but just for a couple of hours to catch up.

Amber:: That's pretty rotten about the gratuity and the DDP! I would imagine the servers aren't too crazy about the policy change; then they would have to worry about giving good serviece to earn their tip.:rolleyes1

lyzziesmom:: Welcome back!!! That rocks that Lyzzie likes Space Mtn and EE!! I still think she needs to give RNRR a try.:goodvibes
I checked into Midwest Air when I heard about the good fare that you got with them. They fly from St. Louis to Orlando via Milwaukee.:scared:

pozey:: Many moons ago I used to order Kona Coffee from a place in Hawaii. It was good stuff, if I remember correctly.

HisMajesty??:: I can't believe you've been registered on the Dis since January and this is your first post!! The story of how you and pozey met is hilarious!!
Anyway, it was nice to see you post......don't be a stranger.pirate:

YourMajesty:: I would loved to have seen the look on your face when Pozey called!! What fun it would be to get a phone call like that!!!

Well, I had better sign off for the evening. I've got an early wake-up call in the morning...............again.:guilty:

Sorry about missing the past few days. Sweetpolly has kept me incredibly busy with superhero stuff. It has taken a lot out of me. Enough of that. I'm happy to be back shining shoes for now. WELCOME to claribella!!!!!!:cool1:

I was thinking a little healthy snack never hurt anyone:
How about a "Beatle Apple"!

Enjoy!!!!!:yay:

See you at breakfast! Have a great night all...

Donna...now that you know me can you imagine how little HisMajesty actually gets to talk?:rotfl2: Still a little unbelievable about the phone call...very cool.:cool1: Sorry you have to work tomorrow. How is your mom feeling?

Welcome home lyzziesmom! Hello to all!

Good morning, everyone!!! Yippeee!!! It's the weekend!!:woohoo: Maybe after work this morning, it will even feel like it. My new daybed is being delivered this morning and I've already given Gary instructions on where they are supposed to put it. I have a nice quilt that Mom got me for Christmas one year; I'm going to try to see how that looks on the daybed before I go buy something new. Hopefully, that will work!!:thumbsup2

Queenie:: I just love the pic of you and hubby...such a "regal" couple. Was that pic painted before you became a blonde? ;)

How about some mini-Mickey waffles from Pop Century this morning? Afterwards we can head to MGM for morning EMH!!!

I hope everyone has a Space Mountain Saturday!!!:cool2:

:rotfl2: But a lovely photo of you two, it is!!!
Mr. Majesty: :welcome: very cute story of the meeting w/ Pozey.

Donna, those waffles look devine - thanks!

Lyzziesmom - welcome back! Glad to hear you had a good trip, and can't wait to see some pictures!

Ashley, I sure hope somebody decides something about your tooth and gets it fixed!

It's a lovely day here, now if I can get rid of this darn headache :headache: so I can enjoy the day...
I have to take DD shopping, then off to a BBQ competition. (I'd be there all day but have to go shopping, you know....)

Ya'll have a lovely day!

Hey Donna...thanks for the mickey waffle. Our virtual pictures doesn't quite match up to our real life appearance...I can't figure that one out. :rotfl2: Don't work to hard today.:goodvibes

DznyFan...hey, get rid of that headache. Sounds like you have a busy weekend. It's going to be nice and muggy this weekend it the sun stays out. Gook luck at the BBQ contest.:woohoo:

Donna...thanks for breakfast...how did you know that was what I wanted today??:goodvibes I hope you love the daybed.

YM...the picture looks amazing...funny that is just how I pictured you two!:rotfl2:

Lyzziesmom...welcome back...sounds like you had a great time...although it would be really tough not to have a great time in WDW, right?!?

You guys are going to love this...Matt got in the car yesterday with this neon green flyer in his hand, apparently it was passed out at school. He gets in saying 'mom you aren't going to believe this!!'

His friend, who comes from a sweet but ODD family is having a party. The flyer reads:

Then is one of my favorites...
Clawson Public Schools, The City of Clawson or the ***** family assumes no responsibilty for any programs related to this flyer or transportation to or from this event

I am in shock!! to have a party and charge for it boggles my mind. I could almost see it if he was having it at home and mom and dad didn't know what he was up to but they rented the room at the community center:confused3

This same mom sort of works for the school district, which I guess explains the disclaimer at the end, as director of the program to prevent underage drinking, drug use, etc. She has an office in the HS.

She and her husband are renewing their wedding vows the Saturday of Labor day weekend. Thursday she sent an email to EVERY employee of the district asking them to save the date. She just invited hundreds of people she may never have met to her reception....I originally thought what would she do if everyone showed up...how could they afford to pay for this, now I wonder just how much she is going to charge us for the priviledge of attending!!

Gotta get cleaning... have a great one!

Michele: That is SO weird ... charging for a party?? The only time I've ever heard of that is for a rave-type underground party where your entrance fee helps to fund the um *cough* illegal activities. Not that I've ever been to a party like that. :rolleyes1 Oh, and Miss Lilly is absolutely gorgeous!! She has such pretty hair, and really looks like a bundle of personality. How sweet!

While we were in Epcot, Lyzzie and I got matching Henna tattoos on our arms from the lady at Morocco. I let Lyzzie choose the design and of course she chose the most elaborate, expensive one. But I was pretty much expecting that. When I was at the dr. yesterday, he pointed to it and said, "What the heck is that? Did you get all wild on me since the last time you were here??" It's so funny seeing people's reactions. Good thing he hasn't discovered my REAL tattoos, that would really throw him for a loop!!

I'm going to try to get my pictures transferred to my computer today and get some of them into Photobucket. It's just a little overwhelming... I took SO many! My mom asked Lyzzie if I took any pictures, and she says Lyzzie just looked at her, rolled her eyes in the way only an 8 year old girl can  , and said, "Grammy, it wouldn't be a vacation if Mommy didn't make me stop to take pictures every ten seconds." I still haven't quite gotten the hang of taking good night pictures though. Guess I'll have to do some research and practice before September.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day! It's so beautiful out here, but I am just too darn tired to think of a single thing to do today. Everything I can come up with (zoo, farm, park) just seems too exhausting... I'm still in WDW Recovery Mode! It's too bad too, because I have Miss Emma Rose to myself for most of the day - Lyzzie doesn't get back from her party until about 2 or 3 pm. Poor Emma took over an hour & a half to get to sleep last night, she would cry and get out of bed every time I left the room. That girl was pulling out every trick in the book! I'm so hungry, I have to go potty, I have to poop, I'm thirsty, I need another story, I'm lonely, I feel sick, I want to watch tv with you... you get the idea. She even got out of bed and ran smack into her bedroom door and then howled I'm HURT! I think she's afraid she's going to go to sleep and I'll be gone again when she wakes up. I even tried laying in Lyzzie's bed for a few minutes - Emma wouldn't take her eyes off me. FINALLY I got her to sleep by promising I'd come back every few minutes to check on her (and with the help of a little Benadryl - hey, she was a little sniffly!). The only good thing to come of the whole thing is that she slept in until almost 9am this morning, I was loving that!

My mom got Emma almost completely potty trained while we were gone. I took her to Target yesterday to pick out some new panties to keep at our house - the silly girl wanted Cars briefs for boys! We settled on some nice flowery Hanes with no characters. And then this morning, she didn't even want to wear them, she wanted her Princess pullups! :confused3 Oh well, whatever makes her happy is fine with me.

YM: I LOVE your picture! You two make such a handsome royal couple. May I ask what exactly you two are the king and queen of? :lmao:

Donna: Those Mickey waffles look great! I didn't eat nearly enough of those on vacation. I think I had them only once, at the abc Comissary at MGM. Yummy! It was so nice to eat outside and people-watch, and we were REALLY hungry because the restaurants weren't open during the morning EMH so we worked up a good appetite on Star Tours and Muppets 3D! I've been talking up RNRR to Lyzzie, she's still not sure about the upside-down part but she has been showing some interest. At DisneyQuest she rode CyberSpace Mountain about 6 times, and after the first couple times she started making upside-down tracks. The last one was nearly ALL upside-down! She'll be a true coaster girl soon. I'm hoping she'll be ready for RNRR on our next trip. I tried to get her to just go through the line with me and then use the chicken exit while I ride, but it was a no-go. She offered to wait in the store, but I wasn't comfortable with leaving her alone THAT long. 10 minutes is my max for that sort of thing, and even then I'm having heart palpitations the whole time. She's a great kid, but I swear she just does not pay attention to ANYTHING!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Welcome His Majesty!!! It's nice to hear your version of the meet!

Michele- Charging for a party?!:confused3 That's crazy! Lilly is so cute!

YM- I love the picture!;)

Have a great day!

Thanks Donna!!! Good luck with your new day bed! have a great weekend.:yay:

Michele, Lilly is just beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing a new picture!
Um - I think that's just a tad odd about that party. Can't say I've heard of a private party where they've charged admission and for food. I guess they've got to pay for the rental of that hall, huh?

I think... but I may be wrong - they're the king and queen of Owasso! Funny story about the Doc, Lyzziesmom - thought you'd gone and gotten all wild on him, huh? Aw, poor Emma must've really been missing you and glad to have you home!! Yay for the potty training! I hope you figured out something to go and do today!
